Excited to try this new place. Ambience was inviting and fun. This is definitely a place to bring a few friends and have a very fun meal. Beautiful restaurant. However, after getting our first round of drinks we placed our order. It took us 30 minutes to get our appetizers. We got the calamari and mussels and both were very good and tasty . The mussels were the winner of the night. After our appetizers , it took another 30 to 40 minutes to get our main dish. By this time, my husband and I were on our 3rd and 2nd drinks. Maybe this was an upsell tactic or they were very busy. We got our main meals, and they were average. The squid ink lobster ravioli was too fishy for our taste and the seafood gnocchi was just ok. We skipped dessert. I’d say go for the fun ambience and to have some drinks, but make sure not to go hungry because you’ll be waiting a while.

Pizza was incredible. The crust is so light and fluffy but crispy at the same time. The ingredients, you could taste each one individually even as you munch into all of them together. The quality was next level. The owners are so welcoming. It is obvious how much they genuinely appreciate you being there. They go out of their way to make you feel apart of it. Great place, 100% will be making it a regular stop.

I came with high expectations and left wowed with the excellent food and cozy atmosphere. The space at Aromi provides great ambiance for a romantic dinner, with dim lights, the fire from the oven visible in the background, and lots of plants. The food is another highlight with excellent ingredients. The toppings on the mortadella and burrata pizza were generous and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked at tasted amazing. The lasagna was delicious and so cheesy! The staff is very friendly and regularly checks in with the tables.

Lovely little place in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn. Very starchy/light dough for the pizza and rosemary focaccia. Roast octopus was very tender but expected a little more than just one leg considering the price. Very satisfied taste wise and hope they adjust the price/volume for the octopus and tiramisu. Would love to come back to sit in the backyard.

The pizza is some of the most authentic Italian style I have had outside of Italy. The dough and crust are especially noteworthy. The pizzas are best experienced in person directly from the pizza oven. There is a lot of Italian spoken at the restaurant and Italians dining all of whom exchanged hugs with the owners and the staff. A low key, friendly, authentic Italian pizza spot and restaurant. Have dined at the restaurant a couple times with a consistent experience.

This place is super special. The food is excellent, authentic Italian cooking with a mostly Italian team taking care of everything. The decor is on point. Ambiance is smooth and calm, dark and yet well lit. The two owners are attentive and on hand to mix cocktails and ensure your visit is personal. We were speaking to Alessndro for the majority of our meal as he was behind the bar mixing, before he revealed he was one of the owners, shows a certain kind of humility which I really like. Drinks are well made and perfectly balanced. The food is well presented. Finally, the music is good. Which ever one of them is responsible for the music selection gets extra points as it’s well matched for the scenery. This is my new favorite Italian restaurant in New York City. I highly recommend everything pictured here, and I’m sure everything else on the menu is equally delicious. The service was impeccable, friendly, and warm. The interior was cozy, romantic, and intimate. The food was fresh, flavorful, and super filling. Everything was really made to perfection. Top tier calamari, ravioli, and tiramisu 😍 We were given free limoncello shots at the end of our meal which really put the icing on the cake. Love this spot, it’s a must for anyone visiting Carroll Gardens!
