Mirage Diner Restaurant

Service was excellent, prompt and very personable. Like the "Cheers" theme song, "...where everybody knows your name...glad you came..." I am not a regular, but my friends are. We came because Mirage offers a seafood au gratin that is a favorite of one of my friends. He was very pleased with it. My hamburger was average, but being in a welcoming atmosphere and running into other friends who also enjoy the place was well worth it. Seeing the brisk take out business speaks to a reliable place, too.

Never been here after living around the area for over 25 years, and decided to come here with my partner. We really enjoyed the service the staff provided , being very patient and helpful regarding the extensive menu. We both really enjoyed our meals ( i had a filet mignon dinner special and my partner had an omelette). We had complimentary bread + pickles and those were refreshing and tasty. We will definitely be back , and I regret not taking photos, since we practically inhaled the food as soon as it hit the table .

A treasured landmark of Brooklyn, the Mirage Diner is a reliable diner that I've been going to for over 28 years. Just like all local diners, the menu is very standard and you can get pretty much anything here that you can get at any diner and the prices are very reasonable. When you sit down for a meal (lunch or dinner) , you are given a little bowl of coleslaw and pickles (some half-sour, some full-sour). Conveniently, there is a small parking lot for customers. The place is clean, the food is great and the staff is friendly.

Ordered from Uber Eats. The food was so fresh and delicious! Seriously, it’s some of the best diner food in the area and I’m glad I ordered. I can’t wait to order from there again. Tuna sandwich was good, cheese fries and gravy were great—they add a pinch of nutmeg to the gravy and it really takes it to a new level! Burger was tasty, curly fries were curly as heck, soup was delicious. Wish they gave more than 2 balls for a large size. Rainbow cake was too moist for me, but the roomie loved it. Thanks!
