Love this place. Food is delicious. Had the smash burger and yucca fries the other night. Delicious!! Leo is the owner and absolutely very hospitable. Love all his dishes from the BBQ meat board, smash burgers and his brunches on the weekends. All are delicious!! Thank you Leo. Cant wait to go back and try his Brazilian stew. Exquisite experience. As another reviewer write, Sarava , as stated in another review, is a hidden gem in Bay Ridge. The menu is totally unique and on par with a midtown Manhattan restaurant. Though we no longer live in Brooklyn, we travel from Rockland County just to dine here. Some of our favorite foods include: the crab cake appetizer and the entree of Bobo de Camarao is a must, as is the pear tart with gelato for dessert. In addition, the Brazilian drink, Caipirinha, made with Brazilian rum is delicious!! You MUST COME HERE to try it all! Rafaela, The owner is friendly and accommodating!

Absolute hidden gem in bay ridge. The food is phenomenal, quality is top notch, and the space ambiance is great. The food was great. I couldn't believe how great everything tasted. The sauces were magical, and it definitely had me saying wow. And that's what i look for that wow factor, and this place definitely had the wow factor. Drinks were great as well. Staff and owner Rafaela was great as well. Definitely, the gem in Bay Ridge must go too spot

As a long time fan of Saravá Modern Bistro, I wonder where I should start reviewing one of my favorite restaurants in Bay Ridge Brooklyn?? I can start by telling you about the delicious food, or the cozy atmosphere on its dining room, the adorable backyard, or the wonderful hosts and owners, Rafaela and Chef Leo, who have become family with how often they’ve hosted our many special occasions. But, let me start at the drinks! 🍹If you’ve never had a Caipirinha, run don’t walk to Saravá and order their Caipirinha flight and taste 5 different ones! The Prosecco Pop is the perfect Summer drink and if you’re a beer fan, our favorite is the Saravá IPA on draft. Food-wise, I’ve got 2 dishes on repeat: The Yucca Gnocchi and the Bob de Camarao - each hearty dish is perfectly executed each time you visit. We’re there often so at this point we’ve had everything on the menu but those two dishes have a special place in our hearts. All the appetizers are delicious. And don’t pass on dessert … order the Brazilian Carrot Cake or the Flan … you’ll thank me later!! If you haven’t found this gem, run don’t walk and give them a try!
