Rocky's has long been my favorite bar in Brooklyn. When it closed for a time, I was heartbroken because nowhere else has the same casual magic, camaraderie, and authenticity. But when it reopened at the new corner, the old charm returned instantly!
The Irish session nights are enchanted, and all the staff treat ya like they're glad you came in. Rocky's carries a mischievous, joyful sparkle which can't be synthesized or duplicated elsewhere.

AWESOME local bar that’s quiet by NYC standards, but has a lively and active local crowd night to night - including a group of musicians that occasionally come to jam some FANTASTIC Irish music! Staff is incredibly kind, the beer is good, and the venue itself has a ton of fascinating history. Can’t recommend this gem enough

ONE OF MY BESTIE'S WAS HAVING HER SON'S BABY SHOWER THERE. ABSOLUTELY A "GREAT" PLACE FOR AN INTIMATE GATHERING. IT ALSO HAS A SMALL SPORT'S BAR WITH A BAND.

Nice old time bar with decent prices and fast bartenders. We went for a birthday party and will stop by again next time we're in Redhook. It's right near Ikea.

Amazingly comfortable bar with lots of space to dance in and a good group of (mostly local) people who are really friendly. The bartender Owen7 is super cool as everyone else seems to be. It's one of those places that you feel at home immediately. Anr they have a great stage for bands.

Rocky Sullivan's is a great spot to grab a casual, down-to-Earth drink in Red Hook. The bar is spacious, with a cool back yard patio area, and sits right across from the water, so you can take a little stroll to catch the sunset.

Nice venue. Decent bar selection. Was there during the day so can't say about the nights atmosphere but looks like should be busy and buzzing.
