Exceptional food!! Great atmosphere. The owner was there and made us feel like part of the family. Everything we tried on the menu was great the seafood was extra fresh!! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Nice portions of well prepared and tasty food. Restaurant ambience (as opposed to trying to cram in a South American experience). Could easily take a date here, or a small family. I had several appetizers as opposed to a main meal, washed down by a sangria. Was more than pleased with a blackened blood sausage, a rarity that most people shy away from; absolutely delicious. Would love to return here to try the entire menu, but am based too far away in Jersey City.

Still the best ceviche I've had, and everything else I've ordered here is delicious. It's quiet and a small space, which is refreshing when most places you can't hear who you're with.

By far the best “Peruvian” food I’ve had. If you want an “Authentic”fresh Chinese type of fried rice this is def the place to go. I’m one I love the “Chinesse” fried rice and I’ve havent eaten it for many years bc I don’t trust “Chinesse” ppls food. They are the best. Very professional. Clean, Quite cozy and romantic the way the set up is there lights are always dimmed. The reason I gave it 4🌟 is be the price is a bit steap sorry🙊

The food here is nothing short of amazing. I ordered the chicken fried rice and was close to tears with how GREAT it tasted!! Service was beyond exceptional, I asked for a bandaid and the waitress went to a store on the end of the street to buy some for me! Unbelievable, but truly outstanding service. I loved it here

Walk by all the time and finally popped in for dinner. Had the steak and chicken combination with the pork fried rice. Oh my god so freaking delicious! The portion was great for the price and everything was so good. The pitcher of chicha morada was refreshing and tied everything together. Looking forward to coming back!

Love the entraña and salad. Can’t get enough if it. The owner is always so gracious and courteous to all his guests. Just love this place. We used to go to Chimu in Union but thankfully they opened in Irving in Brooklyn and I can enjoy my entraña whenever I crave for it!

My wife and I having been dining at Chimu for the past 4yrs and have never had a bad experience. Food is excellent and the staff is always friendly. Since 2012 and the food along with service has always been EXCELLENT...

Had a great experience last Saturday, service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the beef hearts with peruvian potatoes - love the sauce - and the green spaghetti dish with steak was great, although to be fair, the steak could have been juicier, but it was not a big deal. Great service overall, the waitress happily answered all of my questions. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Great little place in Bushwick...Very good service, delicious food. Shrimp stuffed avocado appetizer a must...skirt steak was tender. Fried rice is a must have too...had the entree with chicken...it had some bacon in it which have it a smoky flavor. It was a huge portion.
