Stonefruit Espresso + Kitchen

TL;DR: a hidden gem with great coffee and delicious pastries/food options. Brooklyn is famous for things that are also other things. Like a truck rental company that’s also a brick-oven pizza place. Stonefruit is a bakery/coffee shop/lunch spot/flower shop and is definitely worth a visit. My fiancée loves their lavender latte and I’m a fan of their mocha. The whitefish toast is by far our favorite food item, and I haven’t met a pastry from there I didn’t love.

Pretty average cafe experience, employees were attentive to their jobs and very efficient. The food and drinks came out very quickly and the atmosphere is super nice. Cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of items on the menu. The Bundt cake was a little dry, but I can see it being incredible at its peak freshness. The coffee and tea is average, can’t really go wrong there. The smashed avocado (add egg) is yummy and seemingly pretty healthy! Overnight oats were giving hospital good vibes but that’s fine, still edible.

I was visiting Brooklyn with a friend and we came across this cafe while exploring. We ended up coming back for more after enjoying it so much. Love their food and coffee. Even though it's small, they have adequate seating and more space in the back. They also have wifi. Stonefruit has friendly service and a bohemian atmosphere. They offer a variety of healthy foods, gluten free and vegan choices too! If I'm ever back in Brooklyn, I'll be sure to return.
