The torta ahogado is low key one of the best guilty pleasures around and eating one is the only time it’s acceptable to eat a sandwich with a fork. Their homemade tortillas instantly make anything else on the menu better than you’re used to getting in NYC

Harlem experienced quite a loss when El Atoradero relocated. But Harlem's loss is Brooklyn's gain, and I was very happy to have such fabulous Mexican so accessible to me. Eating here brings me straight back to Oaxaca. Get adventurous and try the lengua. If brunching, go for the filling chilaquiles. It's small, so prepare to wait - it's worth it.

For starters, Chef Denisse is the realest restaurant owner. It's very rare to eat somewhere and feel like you're at home, but shehe goes out of the way to make you feel that. The food is phenomenal, I don't usually like mole, but I dream about her mole, the cochinita pibil is out of this world, and finally the chorizo anything. You really cant go wrong here.

Great spot to pop into on a Saturday afternoon for a margarita and guacamole. A pitcher is $42, one taco per serving. Preferred the shrimp over the pork. Cute back patio with a very friendly staff.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food! Tortillas are homemade, ingredients are yummy, and cocktails are solid. The menu is manageable extensive and service is friendly!

The handmade blue corn quesadillas are everything I have been dreaming of. Super authentic and super delicious. Try them with any number of fillings, but huitlacoche is still my favorite. In general, the way they prepare their carnitas is not my favorite, but they have cecina, so there's that. Everything is delicious.

Some of the food was too salty, but all the meat was cooked well with flavorful seasoning. Great variety on the menu, so can try out many options. Friendly and personalized service made navigating the menu easy.

Menudo is amazing. Every dish reminded me of home. Very authentic feel. Note: it's always busy -- especially on weekend nights -- so be prepared to wait. It's worth the anticipation.

Excellent food, super authentic Mexican. Go for carnitas and try the mole. Its a small space with a couple tables in a small back yard as well. Crowds are variable. I have seen it packed and they do not take reservations, but worth the wait if its busy.

This is a really good spot for Mexican food. The menu is well designed and simple with excellent offerings. They don't yet have a liquor license (6/5/16) and the beers are bottled and honestly overpriced. The only pitfall was them forgetting our order which they were extremely apologetic about. Something just seemed odd but I'll give it another try.
