My friend brought me here tonight. The waiter was really friendly, and the food was good. The black bread smelled really nice and went well with the butter and jelly. We got the spinach pasta and cocoa casarecce with lamb. The spinach one was a bit salty but otherwise really good, the casarecce taste like a vegetarian dish in a good way, not the usual taste expected in a pasta dish. Everything tasted fresh. One thing that bothered me was that I (female) was the one who paid with the credit card, but when the waiter brought back the check, he automatically put the check in front of my friend (male) and that made me a bit upset.

Lovely place, delicious food. Undiscovered gem! My wife and I went here for brunch. They offer an incredible menu with a wide diversity of choices, Food was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. The decor is charming but low-key. Felt very homey. Not too busy -- yet -- so I would try this place before the word gets out. We're local, but for people visiting Bay Ridge, the cafe is only about 3 blocks from the 95th Street subway stop on the R train. Highly recommend it!

Got the 3 course thanksgiving, got the roasted root vegetable and cheese / and the pumpkin soup appetizer The salmon and the Tukey for main Pumpkin pie with pumpkin ice cream And apple pie with cheddar ice cream , Ice creams were some of the best we ever had, the salmon had a crust and puff pastry that was heavenly with horseradish sauce, the soup was so fragrant with roasted pumpkin seeds sage cinnamon..everything felt perfect and excited so nicely, food tastes the way it should, not processed ..but so fresh Also had a great cup of coffee! Will be back for a burger sometime

Wow, we were so impressed with this cute spot and so happy we decided to try it today! First of all, the restaurant is nicely decorated perfectly for the food they provide. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Just the sweetest. It’s giving “fresh off the farm” vibes and I am totally here for it. I ordered the Lobster Roll - so yummy and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted like it was just just caught, picked, baked today. So fresh. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. He couldn’t have been more satisfied. He absolutely loved it and claimed he’d love to come everyday for their breakfast. The yolks were bright orange and the eggs perfectly seasoned and cooked. The biscuit was fluffy and crumbly at the same time. We shared the special dessert- the berry cobbler with ice cream and the berries tasted like they were just picked. What a treat! Homemade ice cream too! Try the Beet Latte! A unique pink drink to shake up your day :) We’ll definitely be returning to this farm to table restaurant again soon. Bonus: it’s right outside the Fort Hamilton gate if you are staying on base or live in housing.

This is a very good and somewhat hidden restaurant in Bay Ridge. The menu is full of fresh vegetables and they're cooked and integrated into the dishes perfectly. I got the Wild Boar Pappardelle and it was amazing. I highly recommend the hummus and the toast apps (toast not pictured because we ate it so quickly). I think the restaurant is BYOB, I saw several groups bring in their own wine, but I didn't see anything about that on the site or Google maps. I recommend confirming ahead of your stay.

The food is amazing! The environment is so comfortable and cozy. There is only one waitress and she was phenomenal. The best part? She barely interrupted us unless it was to bring us our food. The portions are perfect in my opinion. It allows you to try different dishes. My husband and I were able to share a soup, black bread, and a veggie dish before our main came out. I ordered the Amish burger and I left with half a burger to take home. I was so full, I gave the fries to my hubs. The prices are fair, you are paying for farm to table food. Food that is fresh, not frozen, and actually has taste. The pavlova cake is amazing too! We will definitely be coming back.
