Brooklyn Bavarian Biergarten

Hi all, I just posted a previous review few minutes ago (see the attachment). I was really impressed how fast the owner saw it and came up to us. The owner explained to the situation he experienced due to changing weather conditions and problem with his staff. He was very polite and respectful. I agree that I didn’t know the situation behind it and was very premature with my conclusions. Paying attention to the explanations and all efforts I’m sincerely apologize fo him and his team, and giving 5* to this place, despite some inconveniences we had. Also, any one has seen owner running between customers helping his staff? I have not. It really impressed me! My personal apologies again OLD REVIEW Now I'm at the Brooklyn Bavarian Biergarten right now with my brother, today is May 25, 2018, 7:45pm. Food is great and delicious, beer menu is also great, but there are some problems with service. We ordered Weihenstephan and Hofbrau lager but we were told something wrong with the pump and we can't get it. We ordered Grevensteiner, got the only one and were told they ran out of it. Also after ordering the first beer we were waiting at least 20-30 mins and no any waiter came to us. Moreover we noticed that many people were without any attention waiting to order, some people went by themselves to take the menu because nobody came since they took a table. So I'm giving 5 for food and beer, but for the service and how everything organized. Iguess is the fair grade. If you want to visit this place, food and beer are very good, but be ready to wait wait wait wait... P.S. atmosphere there is very nice and cozy

I highly recommend this spot for family or group outings. The staff, especially the manager are fantastic and deliver that German efficiency in helping you have a wonderful time here. The food and drinks were excellent and not pricey too. It is also a good place for a date (well not during the cold weather for outdoors) but you get the picture.

THIS undiscovered spot is the chillest bar around here. Never have I been disappointed with the food and the beer selection is good. The Dunkel Lager from Munich is my (and the waitress') personal favorite. Cozy outdoor seating surrounded by plant life and running water that makes you forget about the street outside. Caution: Mosquitoes are abundant at times

This place is bizarre, starting with the fact that you're greeted by a talking horse statue. (The talking horse, by the way, did not like me very much, but I'm not holding it against the garden.) There's a waterfall in the back, and tables along a path that winds behind the main hall. The prices here are fair: $12 for a 33 oz stein of beer. Note that the "Uber soft pretzel" does not mean a very soft pretzel, rather, a very large soft pretzel.

I live very close so I've been a number of times and always had a good experience. The food is tasty and the beer selection is great. The outdoor area is especially nice but we found the indoor area to be a great option for large groups when the weather isn't so good. We ended up hosting a large group of friends there on a recent Saturday afternoon and they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was even kid-friendly.

Love the vibes of the outdoor section of this beer garden. There are actual trees and plants and so it feels like a garden unlike most other "beer gardens" in NYC. They sell liter steins of beer and the beer selection is great with local beers as well as German imports. The food is excellent as well with many German and bar favorites. Probably my favorite bar in Park Slope.
