Great bake and fish. My favorites are the coconut drops and currant rolls. Delicious currant and coconut rolls imaginable! Yes the lines are usually long, however, it moves rapidly. I will be back

Got a specialty cake. It tasted great and looked beautiful, but it fell apart. The cake itself was thick and moist and delicious. Forever loved Allen's bakery ... cake with pineapple filling

Great currant rolls. Allan’s is a well known bakery, for good reason. I wish they would bring themselves back into the 21st century and accept cashless payments. Also, please allow for Uber/Postmates/etc pickups BEFORE 5PM?

It's Brooklyn. It's Allan's. You've got to try a business for 30 plus years in the making and still running strong. The food is delicious, and it's a fresh taste of the carribean.

Stopped in for something sweet. The Currant Roll was the best I ever tasted! I also got the delicious codfish balls. If the balls aren't hot when you purchase, put them in a toaster oven when you get home - they crisp up and taste so good!

BEST Caribbean Bakery in ALL of NYC AND New England, I have Been coming to Allan's Bakery for Years and they Never disappoint, I AWLAYS stop when I'm in town, A 8 hour drive when i need a homesick fix, I'll made a special trip for Black cake, currants rolls, sweet bread, etc.. #delicious #yummy #eats #takeout #food.

Always amazing traditional pastries. Wonderful staff, pleasant and easy going. My parents make it a point every year we visit New York to stop by and pick up items before we head back out. I'm an adult now and do the same.

Great experience! Line was long but went by quickly (probably a 7 minute wait until I was serviced). The staff was super friendly and gave me a choice between a beef patty or a salt fish and bake. I chose the salt fish and bake which was delicious! Definitely a great quick meal for breakfast or lunch when on the run.
The currant roll was great, I love all things raisins in deserts. I love that they raisins were highlighted without taking away from the flaky sweetness of the pastry.
The coconut roll was great. Definitely great for anyone who loves coconut.

It's clean Covid 19 prevention in place. This was the first time I was in there was impressed at all carribbean snack, bread and cow foot souse was a little disappointed they did not have chicken foot souse but it's cool now I love current rolls and they have them so a got 3 they taste is ok I did not like how they were so very soft and felt they might fall apart but that's just me I like my a little sturdy and not as moist inside the souse was good also. I will go in if am in the area but won't buy the current rolls .
