The amount of tender seasoned oxtail they give in a small order is a blessing. The jerk chicken will make you cry because it's so delicious. Please go and treat yourself. I had small oxtail rice and peas 🫛 cabbage and side of jerk chicken for $21.00 WOW ❤️

I'm not a big Jamaican food person but that's mostly what is served in this area. There are lots of Jamaican food spots on Utica but this one is by far the best. The flavors are poppin. I always get the Jerk chicken with rice and peas and J is usually on the grill. The Jerk chicken does not disappoint and the rice and peas is soft enough. The curry gravy is tasty as well. I highly recommend.

Great food. Only dropping a star because the cashier/plater/order caller/customer service agent has to do two or three people’s jobs which slows down the line.

I did enjoy their jerk chicken, and that made me try something else from them. I got their rice with fried chicken, very delicious I must say. I got their food from door dash. Highly recommended this place to anyone in for Caribean food.

Some of the best jerk chicken I had ever tasted I love the rice and beans and I don't usually like rice and beans but it was delicious in your cabbage was sliced so thin it was so delicious.

I've had everything on the menu. I love this place. The Oxtails are my ultimate favorite. Place is super small and is cash and takeout only. Fish always sells out fast. The women love Marlon and love to hold up the line. Prices are decent and you get lots of food for the money.

Ugh, they are so good. I live in the Bronx but travel all the way here just for my oxtails. That's 2 hours there and 2 hours back 😩😩 They never disappoint and are always consistent with the flavor. I have yet to find a closer Jamaican spot that can even compare.

The food was great as usual. Interestingly, the 2 employees at this location were pleasant! THIS IS NOT USUAL for fisherman's cove. At other locations, the employees are as salty as old fishermen, which I believe is where the name comes from. Go for the chicken and plantains, and at this location, the pleasant staff.

The amount of food you get for your money is insane, always great, always authentic. Definitely reminds me of my grandma's and dad's cooking.... Now some of the staff, well let's just say I go for the food not so much the service. And it's only on occasions when we want a treat or something different. Would definitely recommend the food here!
