The Way Station

Love the nerdy decor! Came here alone on a Sunday night for karaoke (because that's the kind of person I am) and it was a ton of fun! Karaoke was well run with lots of choices and the ability to ask the KJ if he can find it if it's not in the book. Extremely welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back.

This is a nice little bar/venue that offers up enough space for smaller shows. While the tap list isn't extensive, the prices aren't too bad. There is plenty of modular seating and standing room. I think my only gripe with the place is the single bathroom. I'm not sure what the place is like on days without music, but with a decent crowd, the wait can be a little long.

My boyfriend and i came here because I was told about the doctor who theme. I was slightly disappointed but was told that it is still being decorated. Still very cool though with what was there. But our bartender, nick, was wonderful. He was very friendly and helped us figure out more things to do while in the city. Helped figure out/made very delicious drinks; My boyfriend is kinda picky about his drinks. But he definitely made our experience here. We will definitely make a stop here next time we are in the city again.
