Jennifer Murrell We celebrated my father's 90th birthday in the Slope Lounge and Restaurant and it was a huge success! The owners were very helpful in assisting me with planning all the details of the event, from beginning to end. They were willing to work with my budget and made great suggestions on the little things that needed to be done to make this very special event even more special. Everyone had a great time! The food and service staff were excellent! The dishes that got the most praise from family and friends was the oxtail, mac and cheese, guava chicken and Mango salad. The cod fish fritters was also a huge hit with everyone. I highly recommend this establishment and wish the owners continued success with their business.

Very nice place. They have a beautiful mural on the wall. They had a painting class going on. It was supposed to be poetry night but like I told my friend alot of they events start late. I had the cod fish fritters they were good but probably use more cod fish. A rum punch that was ok because I asked my waiter was there any rum.in it lol. He was very pleasant and attentive which was very much appreciated. I can see me coming back again. They happy hour is very good prices as well for certain items

Had a great time here especially with the snack provided. The little bite just keep on coming and I end up having a decent dinner. Not a fan of their special drink thou. This place is a bit hard to see with lack of lighting outside and off the main Street. Interior design needs some more work and beside that everything went well. Peter managed this event perfectly from pre event to post event. It is so nice to get an event with a link to write sometime about the event directly. Name tag is provide but I feel like it's better to just ask someone their name instead knowing before asking. The special drink of the night is a bit too sweet for my taste. It ended up tasting like a really sweet fruit punch and I beg for some water instead. The snack provided are delicious. Corn all covered in mayo and coconut flicks I think is my favorite. Shrimp on a skew is a bit tasteless and weird. I love the wing. The owner drop by us and he is such a happy person with positive attitude. Waiters are happy as well. I love the culture here.

The food was very delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the food was hot and tender. The food was not salty which can be a problem in West Indian themed restaurants. The ambiance was laid back and our waiter was engaging and easy on the eyes. I would come back again during peak hours on a weekend evening to see the what live musical acts perform.
