Rowe's Restaurant

Rowe's "Atmosphere" should be 4 stars because I (personally) would love to see scenic views of Jamaica and Jamaicans on the walls but I do not want to lower the overall score as to some it's a non-issue. It is a definite 5 stars for its cleanliness and pleasant ambience. Mr. Rowe recently catered an event for my family - and the food was all the rage! Clean, fresh, delicious, AUTHENTIC Jamaican cuisine -served piping hot at our venue. Staff is courteous, pleasant and efficient - way more than can be said for most Jamaican restaurants where staff are shamefully rude. This restaurant deserves 10 stars! Mr. Rowe is an absolute pleasure to deal with; a true professional. Please check them out - you'll be pleased. A best kept secret in the neighborhood of East Flatbush.

Manager "Miss Cherry" is courteous, friendly, extremely pleasant and filled with a joyful personality. The rest of the staff is also delightful. I had jerk chicken with food(yam, green banana, dumplings) plus steamed cabbage. My wife had oxtail with rice and peas, my cousin who introduced me to the place had stewed chicken with food, which was all good, it felt and tasted like home cooked food. Little known fact the place is available for rent as an event space. It has been at this location for four years now, so check it out. I was there this past Saturday for a repast, everything went well, the food was delicious and everyone in attendance was pleased. Miss Cherry was her usual jovial self, in another life she could have been a comedian. I had the brown stewed snapper with rice and peas plus vegetables, and I met the owner, who was there interacting with all the patrons. Please take the time to visit 👍👍👍

Phenomenal! We bought out the dining room for a funeral repass and they were more than accommodating. They served about 50 people and still keep the store open for walk-ins. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend and visit this place when I'm in town again! Thank you!
