We visited Lotus Thai for my wife's birthday. She was excited because she loves Thai food. I was hoping for the best. To our mutual pleasant surprise it turned out to be the most memorable dining experience we have had in at least the past few years. The food was complex, exquisitely prepared, and most of all wonderful to eat! The dining room was relaxed and quiet, the service was attentive but not intrusive. This is truly a great restaurant and we will keep it at the top of our event dining choices.It was a nice way to celebrate and will remember this night for a while.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my mom after searching Yelp for Thai food nearby. As a bonus when I checked in at this location on yelp I was able to get a free Thai Iced tea which was the best tasting that Ive had in Brooklyn so far. The decor catches your eye immediately when you enter because it is very unique. The food was also great but I wish that I had followed my mothers food choice. She ordered the sweet n sour steak while I had the basil fried rice with chicken. My food was good but the sweet n sour was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and not tuff. My only issue was with the dessert. We ordered the cheesecake flambe which we were expecting to arrive to out table as described but it didnt. It simply appeared to be deep fried cheesecake which very good but not flambed at all. However, overall the service and the food were great and i would definitly return in the future.

Nice Thai restaurant which we discovered with my wife driving down on Coney Island Ave in Brooklyn this weekend. I would call it Manhattan style establishment. Very reasonable price's, good menu and Great service. We liked the music what was played by live DJ, it was not too loud, so we were still able to talk to my wife. I am thinking to celebrate my 40th birthday party there in few weeks...

Great Experiences at lotus Thai Brooklyn! I went to this restaurant two weeks ago for lunch and had chicken and shrimp pad Thai the portion was perfect , I even had enough to pack to go. During lunch hours the crowd isn't that bad and we got to sit in a comfortable booth with my group of four friends. I also visited lotus Thai this past Saturday and wow what a night!! I went there around 9:30 with my cousin and sister the atmosphere was different of course being that it was later, but that's to be expected dinner times are usually busier!! They have a live dj which I was surprised to see and made the night so special because it got me and my sister in the mood to go explore the night life! Perfect place to eat dinner before you head out to enjoy your night out on the town! Don't miss out if you are in this area its great for everyone :) tasty food and good atmosphere!

The interior of this place is a bit all over the place- there's almost 5 themes trying to mix with one another. From an atmosphere standpoint- it looks like a club. The food was great, as was the service. I plan to go back as soon as I can. I've been looking for a good thai place in these parts of brooklyn, and I found it. I think it's worth checking out for anyone who likes thai food.
