Pheasant

Stumbled upon this place with some friends of mine before a concert at Brooklyn Steel. When we arrived the place was empty but all the tables were reserved so we ended up sitting at the bar. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. We all had different dishes and everyone one was super pleased with their food. I had the gnocchi which was so flavorful. Definitely will make a reservations next time I have tickets to a concert at Brooklyn Steel.

What a cute place! Went before a show at Brooklyn Steele (in walking distance). Had veg and non veg options so it was perfect for us. We got two apps (polenta and shrimp) and shared a dinner (gnocchi). All delicious. Service was excellent, everyone was nice, attentive and conversational. We sat outside in a heated cabana, which I'm sure in the summer is awesome as well, and were totally comfy even though it was cold outside. I would definitely recommend and come back again!

We joined Pheasant for dinner with 10 friends. The ambience was great, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so pleasant. Big thank you to Lola who was pleasurable and flexible to work with on the dinner. The polenta and chanterelle mushrooms were a standout hit. AND the chicken and rice!!!

Just went for Valentine’s Day and the whole experience was spectacular. Would definitely go back. We had oysters (which I wish they would have given us at least 4 each because they were so good) which were seasoned with fresh spices & herbs. We got beer and some cocktails which were quite good. Appetizer was scallops with blood orange, sauces and herbs. Really good! Duck dish & tuna dish were tasty and so well thought out. The chocolate caramel dessert at the end was easily one of the best desserts I have ever had after a meal at a restaurant. I think service, cleanliness, and the atmosphere was superb (Servers were mostly nice and pleasant though could be more receptive to questions after asking us “do you have any questions about the menu?”) Overall, very enjoyable.

Came here for dinner. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat 2 of us right away on a Saturday night. We’ve been here before and came back because we really liked the food. Our favorite dishes include the crudo, the octopus, and the chicken and rice. The cocktails are pretty good too. The shrimp in garlic and butter was also very tasty.

Great addition to an area that needed it. Expect solid dinner and dessert. The ceasar salad, pork belly, and chicken over rice were great. Our desserts brought an audible "mmm" from the table. Cocktails need some improvements, but the place is brand new, so I will return and update my review. If you want to remember how to spell dessert, just ask yourself, would you rather have 2 desserts or 2 deserts?
