Istakoza in Bayridge is known for their authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean seafood cuisine. Their blackened branzino is the special of the week and a must try. The seafood tajine had a distinct taste of Morocco! Add that to your food bucket list. Can’t forget their hummus, Egyptian eggplant, Babaghanoush and tahini. Amazing sides to have with their homemade bread!

First time going here on Sunday, didn't know what to expect, except it was a seafood restaurant.. The staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The place is clean and kept sanitized. While waiting to order we were offered grilled eggplant which was delicious and freshly made pita bread which is addicting lol. We then ordered the BBQ grilled branzino, mix grill tagine(which was really like for 2 people) and baked salmon... EVERYTHING was delicious. Met the owner Mo who made us feel like family. I highly recommend this place. Btw they offer complimentary tea which is really good. Seafood is as fresh as it gets, prices are reasonable for all that u are getting.A must try. Worth the trip from Staten Island. We definitely will be back.

Guy behind the counter greeted nicely. Had seafood soup which I loved. Fresh bread with hummus was a good combination. Salad came with entree was good. Grilled fish was good, I had better before other places. Grilled jumbo shrimps were very good and rice came with shrimps were good too. Nice and clean place overall. If around, I can stop by again. Keep up the good work👍

Great location, delicious food! Prices are very reasonable. The bread comes fresh right out of the oven. We got two grilled fish and calamari tajine. A great reminder of the good food we have back at home. You get to pick your fish, and all food comes with tahini and eggplant. The rice was great as well! Definitely recommend
