definitely sit at the bar. get the fondue and make sure to are there for happy hour. I haven't tried any of the other food but the meat and cheese selection is great. Love the lighting here and the bartenders know their stuff...Also a great place for mixed drinks beyond wine they have a great selection of beers in bottles and on tap as well...

Incredible cocktails! This place offers $12 and $13 cocktails that are phenomenal.
Julia is one of the best bartenders I've ever been served by. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a good drink and tasty charcuterie try it!!!

Fabulous wine selection. Don't miss happy hour (we sadly did by 30 minutes). Get the fondue as well as their 3 meat plate and you're set for two. Found the dessert selection underwhelming. Where's the proper love of chocolate? Otherwise great. Sat at the bar - decent service.

Great little bar/restaurant to go to for happy hour, drinks, small plates, including cheese. Went there with friends. We had a great time. Sit at the bar or there are about 20 tables in the bar area, where you could order drinks. They have a full service bar. Reasonably priced.

One of Carroll Gardens' gems. Delicious cocktails, often modern revivals on old-time 20s era classics. Their light food menu is also exceptional. Sadly, they're closing at the end of October 2016.

This venue is small but really cozy, there are nothing but great choices for cocktails here. I would suggest that you start with the seasonal cocktail menu, and talk to your bartender/mixologists they are super-friendly and really knowledgeable.

Sometimes the music can be a little loud. But the cocktails are great and the fondue is decent (I'm a stickler for good fondue). I like their inventiveness about things to dip in the fondue.

**My review is only for the food which we had here**
This is a really nice wine bar located in the heart of carroll gardens. We stopped here the other after the sunday mister party at a couple of block away. As we walked in we were immediately seated by our server. The place has a very nice decor.
I ordered the Portabello & Taleggio Sandwich which comes with arugula, pickled shallots and topped it with bacon and my friend had the sandwich with pulled pork. Our food came out quick. My server wasn't sure if the bacon was added to my sandwich and told me to check if it had bacon, I wish she checked that before serving it to me.
My sandwich was very dry abd tasted just ok and I didn't really taste the bacon as they really bits of bacon in my sandwich. I tasted my friend's sandwich too but that tasted average too.
Maybe next time I will try the drinks and the cheese plates here!
