Came to this restaurant after attending a wake at a nearby funeral home. I was with a large group of people, and this was the only restaurant that could accommodate us immediately without reservations or waiting. My friends and I sat down at a large round table and ordered five dishes to be eaten family style. Fried calamari (cooked Chinese style) - Good flavor in the fried batter coating each calamari that was cut into large, 2-bite pieces. Fried to a good consistency, and not rubbery. Pea shoots with garlic, goji, and dried shrimp - I found this to be an odd way to cook the veggies, but the flavors worked - not overly seasoned and light. The pea shoots were fresh and well-cooked. Eggplant and salted fish clay pot - This was my favorite of all the dishes. The eggplant was so tender with the right amount of salted fish to give it a savory flavor. Crispy chicken with salt and pepper on the side - Chicken had a nice crispy skin and was well-cooked. The salt and pepper on the side allowed us to control how much to season the chicken, and it was needed because the chicken was made a bit bland. Fried flounder - This was the only dish I was truly disappointed with because I love fish and I felt they overfried this one. The meaty parts of the fish were a little too firm from the overfrying. Overall, it was a decent dinner. There was nothing horrible about any of the dishes. That said, I would probably choose a different restaurant for Chinese banquet style dishes.

This review is for their $388 dinner set. The meal was mostly seafood and the pig, of course. The baby pig was first presented to us whole, after taking all the pictures of the poor thing, it was brought back inside to be chopped. Skin super crispy, meat so juicy. Oh, and it's served peking style, we helped ourselves instead (I only do peking duck... hehe). The lobster, and fish were still swimming in the tank until we got there. Can't beat fresh seafood especially at Chinese restaurants. I recall the chicken being moist. Long story short, everything was good, even down to the green bean soup dessert. Had to doggy pack leftovers. I preordered the set dinner 3 days in advance, they just asked for my number and took my word for it. No deposit was requested.
