Very interesting. These waffles are more savory than sweet. They are also softer than crispy. The fillings are not typical from prosciutto and apples to cream cheese and ham. The waffle sandwich is quite big. Easy for sharing since it is wrapped in foil. Definitely try a sweet one as well. Nutella and strawberries are the way to go. Small shop, some seating, definitely something different.

Think of these waffle things as really fluffy tacos, except with sandwich fillings. The squash/pomegranate filling is pretty tasty: it's nicely spiced, though I couldn't really taste the pomegranate seeds. The feta & cucumber filling is delicious, with a nice fresh crunch and good-quality feta in every bite. I enjoyed the buckwheat waffles, but there was a hint of oiliness. Everything here is high quality. Would I return? No. Aside from the unfriendly counter help, the prices are just too high. But if you don't mind spending $10 for a light take-out lunch -- yes, you can eat in, but the place isn't inviting, and seats like 8 people max -- you'll want to check this place out.

If you are gluten free and craving waffles, this is the place to go. They essentially turn a waffle into a pita and fill it with all kinds of deliciousness (or you can put together your own). They also have pretty good coffee. They have a steady stream of people, but are never so busy that you can't find a seat or have quick service. This is not a "sit down" type of restaurant, so you should only go if you're interested in a quick bite.

Please meet Waffle and Wolf. Now, I don’t know if this was a stoner concoction or profound culinary genius but I do know it works. I bet you never thought you could pursue a waffle (choice of batter: buckwheat, corn bread or regular) with baked in jalapeños topped with shredded chicken, avocado, lime, and salsa. For starters (ha, bad food pun), I didn’t know I could even get a cornbread waffle. You know the pretend southern roots heard ‘corn’ and ‘bread’ and responded to the cashier before I could think through my decision. I do still stand by my choice. This meal was actually decently healthy, all things considered, as I did restrain myself from ordering a side of mac and cheese and they were out of kale chips. Enter the unhealthy waffle: sweet style. My accomplice indulged in: Mascarpone, Poppy Seed, Blueberry Compote, Brown Sugar Crumble. Brown sugar crumble might even be better than it sounds. Annnnnd if you’re thinking you’re about to eat marzipan, you’re not mascarpone is a cheese. I just had a bite (or two!) but I was sold. If you have a sweet tooth, bring it here.
