Taco Edition

Poor experience, sadly. I saw their Instagram account and got excited to try their food on taco Tuesday while I’m in Brooklyn. However our experience was very poor and we barely ate 10% of the food (had to throw it away). I shared it right away with the guy in the cashier but except for “sorry” he didn’t seem to care (didn’t even come to the backyard to check on us). I also shared it with them the day after on Instagram (giving them the chance to fix the “bad taste ) and also “simply want to say how sorry we are”. All together we spent more than $100 on a Tuesday night that we literally threw away (I offered the restaurant to check the cameras and see it that all food went to waste). Sadly I will not go back there again.

I can only comment on the fish tacos shrimp tostada and the nachos All are great especially the shrimp tostada with coconut on top Their hot sauces are hot and on point It’s a little pricier than other local taco spots but it’s still worth it for what I order any way which is one of the above Will not be getting their drinks again tho unfortunately Too sweet the margarita tastes like a packet mix and for ten dollars I expected a fresh margarita. This should just be five dollars for what you get. IMO even still I wouldn’t order as I prefer freshly lemon /lime juice Great backyard They need to work on their drinks

The tacos are delicious. My favorite dish shrimp tostada absolutely mouth watering!!! The food is spicy, but I love spicy food. If you are not a spicy lover, I wouldn’t recommend the tacos nor the tostadas. I thought it was a bit pricey when I asked for cheese; they wanted to charge $1 per taco just to add a bit of grated cheese that can be easily bought in the store a bag for $2.99. I thought it was a little bit out of hand charging for the cheese. I thought tacos come with cheese. 🧐

This is my first time after they rebranding and second time for this place. When i came in, it was time between shift. So i had a chance to meet both staff. They were really friendly and service minded. For food, It's not like others Mexican food i've tried. Their food is flavourful and rich. I ordered quite a lot of food as my friend and i were starving; lamb taco, pork taco, beef quesadillas extra mushroom, tinga tostadas, tostones, fried sweet plantain and churros. Great job. I like almost all of them. This is my first time to try tostones, not a fan but it's a good combination with dipping sauce. Tostadas seems to be my least favourite. My number one choice still be lamb tacos. But quesadillas is so damn good, will be my next favourite. Highly recommended. Oh! Please be noted that there is no restroom here.
