Taqueria El Fogon 2

I was in the area and decided to stop in for lunch I Had the street tacos they were so good! Chicken was tender,juicy, & seasoned to perfection. The salsas were really fresh and delicious as well. Service was great they made sure I was happy and had everything I need. Prices are very affordable, I recommend people to try them out!

Tried this place for the first time. I had the fried whole porgy n it was perfectly cooked n delicious. There was n issue with the delivery service but not the fault of the restaurant. There’s another spot closer to me that I usually get this dish from but I think that may be done at this point lol. I’ll try both places again n if the difference is still so monumental...I’ll have to call it. The first pic has a forkful already eaten lol sorry. The second pic shows the perfection n the last pic gives u n idea if I liked it or not. def try this place bc it’s fantastic!!!

Went for a late lunch with friends. We were the only ones there initially and then it got really busy. Poor guy was working alone but was still pretty attentive. He did a great job with all our requests too, making sure all dairy was on the side for example. We had 2 regular margaritas and two fruity frozen. They were really good and came in actual margarita glasses instead of a small tumbler that is more and more common these days. The traditional tacos and picaditas were tasty, though the fish was my least favorite. Guacamole with chips and salsas were delish, but a bit small.

Overall the experience was sub-par. The drink were great so no negative comment there. However the waitress was very very slow, we were not even offered a cup of water. The food was at best below average; i ordered the porgy and it seemed as the fish was really a guppy. Unbelievably small for the price. At the end of the service I go and pay with my credit card and the waitress tells me they do not accept cards at the moment. I really wish there had been a sign before hand to let us know that. Luckily we had a few extra bucks. I will never go back here nor recommend anyone I know.

We visited this establishment on 9.4.2016. We were not greeted, except for the waitress telling us several minutes after standing around that we could seat ourselves. We sat, and was greeted by another server a few minutes later, who asked us if she could take our orders. I asked for menus, as none were presented to us. She retrieved the menus, and returned to the table. Almost everything that we initially decided on were not available for us to order. I asked if they had grilled chicken, white meat and the waitress replied that they did and pointed out one of the options on the menu. I specified, as I wanted to ensure that she was clear on what it was that I wanted. Fast forward to about 10 minutes later, she returns to the table, and my order was incorrect! The chicken was not as I expected. Instead of a side of chicken breast that I ordered, I received a dry, salty, dark meat fillet, which was cut into pieces. The rice which was a part of the side order, was really hard and I couldn't chew it. The beans were mediocre at best. I alerted the server and after a few minutes she replaced the rice. The chicken was dark meat and extremely salty so I was unable to eat. At no point during the service were we asked how the meal was. Rather, there was a sense of irritation when we asked questions. I won't even get into the meal my husband had. His experience was worse than mine, to put it nicely. Our friend ordered the seafood soup and literally had to search for the "seafood". I do not recommend this place. HORRIBLE food and HORRIBLE service!!!!!

Stumbled upon this place by accident walking around the area we were hungry and decided to stop in prices were reasonable relative to other nearby restaurants especially the Mexican restaurants. Not a fancy place but more sit-down casual dining experience. Food was pretty good not the best but decent for the price so I guess there's a trade-off. The quesadilla which traditionally is based around cheese based on prior dining experiences did not have much cheese..yet was still tasty. It did have some drink specials which I thought were a good value. I would definitely stop in there again if and when I'm in the area.
