Ben & Florentine

Tasty food and good portions. I removed one star because some items were missing from the table. We only had cream, no milk. The plate came with no apple sauce. When I asked about it, the waitress said they are on back order. I didn't mind but I would have preferred if they told us while ordering. Also, other breakfast restaurants have maple syrup, jam and peanut butter on the table. This place didn't have those.

I never compare apples to oranges - so this is why I would like to give this particular Ben & Florentine a 5 star rating. We aren’t doing fine dining here, rather solid breakfast food at a place you can frequent often - which I do. I’ve been coming here for years and I have never had a bad experience minus their breakfast taco served on a corn tortilla (which is actually a hard circular chip and not a tortilla at all). Love this place, awesome menu, friendly environment and positive atmosphere remains through the turnover you’d see over many years.

I have always seen the restaurant and heard their commercials on the radio and seen them on television but have never tried it. One day I stumbled upon a photo on Instagram that made me want to try their healthy options. The place is always packed, you can call before to make sure there is a place because I don't think they take reservations. The plates are VERY affordable and fill you up. I have tried the Duo-Santé option and the smoothie bowl is absolutely delicious. Just wished the portion was a little bit bigger for the cheese and the smoothie. I have also tried their Combo crêpe pommes and it was truly delicious as well, just felt like the eggs might've been old. The service is quick and the waiters are very helpful. They also offer almond milk and soy milk if you would like that with your coffee.

We often visit this restaurant for brunch and have yet to have a bad experience! The service is great, although when it is very busy on the weekend, it can take a while to flag down your server or get a coffee refill. The kids menu is great, and the kids always get a little plastic B&F cup to take home with them. Large portions, reasonable prices and many different options. Perfect spot for a brunch or lunch!

It’s a heat wave outside and we’re starving so when get inside seems a little warm so we ask the waitress if there’s A/C and she says yes but it’s having a hard keeping up. So we sit down and order. We had Quesadillas and a breakfast skillet - the food was excellent and it the only reason we stayed in the restaurant, in fact I forgot to take my pics right away and I was so hungry - the bathrooms were ok, fairly clean! But after when we asked our waitress about the A/C she said it always has a hard time keeping when it get really hot outside... so!! She said it’s like a freezer first thing in the morning but it doesn’t stay that way very long when it’s hot outside!! Too bad, I’ll remember not to get here when it’s hot, doesn’t make sense for a restaurant to not have proper A/C in this climate!
