The food was obviously cooked at the beginning of the day ( and we went in toweds lunch time) , and there was limited selection. But the atmosphere was an old kinda of South, and if you get in early the food is good. The Christmas music was a but too loud, but thankfully there wasn't ant any ads to ruin it.

If you like good country cooking at a fair price and great atmosphere Frans is the place to go to, we will definitely be going back and it's also very close to our church

Awesome buffet. If it's fried shrimp Friday you better be there before 12 for parking. Everything on the buffet is fresh and well seasoned. The fried and Buffalo shrimp are absolutely perfect. The tarter sauce must be homemade. It's a very sweet and creamy.

Awsome little place. All of the food was amazing. Staff was super. Very friendly and helpful. Great souther cooking. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Always hot, fresh and delicious. The fried shrimp taste like they were caught that morning and then fried. The fried fish never disappoints either.
So glad that the salad bar was back open. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money.

Still after all these years ,and thru Covid
The restaurant food and staff are the best ever!!!! The seafood buff on Wed and Fri are to rave. The locals know best! when you cant get in the place with out waiting after 12pm for a table , trust me its well worth the wait. And there is never a long wait as locals are on a limited lunch break.
Taco Tues was packed when we arrived in our RV. So that must be a hit also....
Campground is A plus in our book..
Have been staying there for years when visiting the Golden Isles.
5 star for all the above.Real people in our Real lives....

We try to get to Fran’s about once a month for the Friday lunchtime shrimp/fish buffet. Never had a bad meal there and the staff is always friendly. The drive from Northeast Florida is worth it!
