Larry's Giant Subs

Left off the exit. If you are headed north bound. 1/2 mile the left to Hyde Park Commons strip of stores. It is on the left corner. Great food! It is worth the ride off the highway. The largest sub I have ever seen called The Animal. Best $11.00 I've ever spent! I'm stopping here every time. Thanks! Chuck OBX, NC

Blake(the owner) is young, respectful, ambitious, and very kind. I came in for lunch with my guy. I will start by saying that I grew up in the Chicago area. I thought I would dive into their version of the Chicago Style Italian Beef. At first glance, the sandwich appears understated. However, I was pleased with the outcome. The sub roll was fresh and buttery. The beef was tender, not overcooked and savory, not salty or chewy. The provolone was melted and fully covered the sandwich. The ghiardinera wasn't oily and had great flavor(I personally would request more of it next time). The au jus was served on the side in a tall cup with enough to cover the whole sandwich. I had a Mug's Rootbeer and a bag of Sun Chips as well. If you have ever been to the Chicago area for a Portillo's Italian Beef, these are not the same. They are doing their own thing here, and it works 💪 !! Keep it up. I will be back to try more.

All the great subs you would expect from Larry's , typically I eat at FL ones and this one didnt fail to meet expectations. Food came out fast for all 4 people in my group. I had the meat ball sub and it was piping hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza, easy to find. Just a little bit off the highway but much better than any major fast food.
