Pepper's Landing

Our car club had their monthly luncheon at Peppers Landing in Brunswick. There were about 36 of us and they had one waitress who had the whole group. She did an amazing job! She got our drink orders and then started on the food orders. Everything came out great and there were no mix ups. Emma…Thank You!

Nice lobsters. I have to say expensive for this area $77 for twin Lobsters. Had a fantastic waitress, But the people there greeted us Can you let the waitress know that? We were her table for 15 minutes?. Nice experience overall, if you want less expensive, lobster food go other places, but it's a nice overall experience..

We had several allergies to contend with and Ryan was amazing. I am gluten free and dairy free. My dinner mate is gf and allergic to seafood. My dinner partner had the gf pasta with vegetables and chicken and said it was a solid choice. I got the twin lobsters with corn and Cole slaw and it was fantastic, light fresh and gf safe. The only improvement we would make is to add a gender neutral restroom. Otherwise everything was spot on.

Wasn't my first choice. Atmosphere was really lacking. They had a gluten free menu with several options. Michael was our server and did a great job. Thanks Micheal!! Food was very regular. Nothing to write home about. But did the job of filling us up. GF firecracker shrimp was the best part. No breading as they didn't have gluten free breading. But hey...healthier,. Maybe. ;). We both got the sweet and sour shrimp, scallops with haddock over rice. Liked the peppers on it too. Their GF version was all no breading so there was a lot of juice in the bowl. The regular version all the sea food was breaded. The person eating it wished they had gotten the GF version without the breading. I guess I made eating mine look pretty good. Served very hot... Not complaining just warning. May have burned my mouth a couple of times before I started blowing on the contents of my bowl before sticking it into my mouth. Was pretty good at first but there was a lot on the bowl! So over all it was an okay place. It was very cold in there and I was sleeveless so do bring something to wrap over your arms in case the have the air pumped up. Thanks again Michael!

Our first visit. Nice selection of seafood dishes along with other dishes. Happy hour was just winding down ,very busy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the gumbo and crab roll. Gumbo was the winner for flavor. Crab was well presented with homemade chips and coleslaw. We would recommend and will be returning.

We were in the Brunswick area looking for a place to eat and saw the reviews of Peppers. Glad we stopped in, the food was delicious. I forgot the exact name of some of the dishes but we ordered a pimento cheese dip that came with some bread and kettle chips…the chips were awesome and I wish I had ordered those with my blackened haddock sandwich instead of the fries. Also had a cup of the clam Chowder, which was chunky and also great. My son liked my clam chowder more than his haddock chowder which was a bit more soupy. There were only two waitresses and a gentleman who appeared to be a manager, but they were hustling so be patient and happy that while service may be a bit slow, at least they showed up.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere and plenty of seating for large families/groups. You could also sit at the bar. It had a live lobster tank for you to choose your own. The restaurant didn't seem to have much staffing. We waited a little to get seated and our drinks were not refilled. However our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the dishes and offerings of the restaurant. The food was very well plated and flavor was on par for each Mexican, Asian, or American inspired dish. The Lobster roll was not the typical hot dog bun length but shorter. It still had good flavor. The area around the tables were wide making it very handicap accessible. Overall it is a pleasant place to dine just have patience with the staffing and amount of time it takes to receive seats, drinks, check, etc.
