Kevabs

I haven't had a meat kebab in so long and was so impressed by the taste. The meat isn't your typical shredded beef of course but well seasoned and filling. It is a bit squishy but I personally didn't mind. Portion size were huge and I enjoyed the vegan cheese. Sometimes vegan cheese is gross and plastic-y in texture but this was tasty and melted pretty well. Wish I lived closer so I could have it more. The Portuguese tarts were amazing too. I've found most vegan custard analogues pretty disgusting but I demolished this in 1 second. Owner there was friendly and happy to have a chat about the food. Also warmed my heart to see her offer a homeless person outside dinner. A true rarity these days.

Visited here with my vegan partner on 15/4/22 & after reading the great reviews on here, we were both really looking forward to it. Unfortunately the actual Kevab was disappointing- lacked flavour and seasoning (salt) - also too much of it in the kevab. The falafel was spot on as were the chips with gravy - you wouldn’t know it was vegan - YUM!!! Would probably eat here again but steer clear of the kevab. Service was spot on also…. Reasonably priced.

Having always been on the list of places to visit, Kevabs really loved up to it's hype. Totally reasonable prices for all the food here, although not having a huge variety of foods, it is perfect for what a typical "kebab" shop would offer. The Kevab did lack sauce but we should have just asked for more! With an all vegan menu, very friendly staff and awesome tasting food, my partner and myself will definitely come back!
