Really tasty bacon and egg roll. 2nd coffee was better than the first. Friendly couple of fents serving. There is no kitchen so pumping out the meals with a little griller and hot plate. Not a bad effort.Cosy little place to relax for a while. $$

Cute little family run business. Very warm and welcoming staff. Perfect coffee. The ham and cheese croissant hit the spot! Just what I needed on a cold and rainy winters morning. I'll definitely be back 😁

Must be a new owner or chef because our breakfast, although relatively cheap, it was very underwhelming. Bacon was cold and $4 for 1 slice and toast was not toasted, so I guess it was bread 😬. Coffee wasn’t great either, sorry guys need to step up your game :) (the guy was nice and friendly though!!!)

Over the past two years I have been to almost every cafe in Brunswick. Sort of a mission, in a good way. Recently a friend returning from living in Hong Kong asked me to take him on a cafe tour. Why is Awkward's my favourite of all the cafes? Yes, it's small and comfortable. Yes, the coffee is great. However it is the staff that make this place. They are really good at what they do and they put everything into it. Yes, this is my favourite cafe.

Love love love this place. I'm here every week. Delicious food and excellent coffee made by a couple of the loveliest guys, and in great, relaxed atmosphere. They've got great taste in music too :)
