Another Broken Egg Cafe

Good place for a hearty breakfast. Generous portions. Very friendly staff. Substitutions available for Vegan, Vegetarian, gluten-free preferences. The fig+honey pancakes are a must-try. Skinny omelette is great. Eggs Benedict was a little let-down :( Not many options for coffee drinks. Cute coffee mugs though! Available for sale at $20. Decent place for a stopover breakfast outside LA.

The food was amazing as usual. I've been to locations in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and now California and they never disappoint me. Even though the cinnamon roll French toast was different than it is in the other states it was still tasty. I will definitely say that City Grits were even better than I've ever had. I Don't even know how that is possible, but they were even more amazing than they normally are. Absolutely delicious. The smoked salmon that I had was really good. The bacon and eggs were perfect compliments. Really enjoyed the customer service, the view, the vibe of this location. Next time I'm in town I will definitely go back for round two!

2nd time here and it was just as good as the last time. I ordered the lox eggs Benedict. One of the best in the city in opinion(I pretty much order eggs Benedict every time I’m out to breakfast.) The weird thing was it didn’t come with Hollandaise sauce, so I had to ask for some on the side. Totally worth doing that. My boyfriend fort pancakes, ham and eggs. Would definitely recommend for a really good brunch.

Hands down the best bruch place. Everything was perfect right from the start and the service was top notch. We started off with a pitcher of orange Mimosas. For food we ordered Salmon and Shrimp Omelette which comes with a side of potatoes or tater tots, Smoked Salmon Benedict which comes on the top of a muffin, poched eggs, tomatoes and capers, Egg Blackstone Benedict with city grits and Crab Cake Benedict. The city grits were out of the world and comes with grits topped with bacon and tomatoes.

We made an order to go. The restaurant is cute with indoor and outdoor seating, they have custom lights I found cool. It was definitely busy but appeared to keep things moving. They told us 20 minutes for pur pick up and it was closer to 40 which we didn't mind considering how busy they were but just assume you don't have to be there immediately. The food was hot when it came out. I had the Crab cake Benedict and it was delicious! My friends enjoyed their dishes and the beignet. I would definitely return here and recommend you give it a try. Conveniently located downtown Burbank. Aside: forgot to take pictures of the food but it was packed well.
