Tequilas Cantina & Grill

Took my niece and sister there on the way to the airport. The food was quite delicious and we sat out on the sidewalk. We wanted to sit inside as it was a little cool but the inside is very crowded and compact and not very attractive. But the food was fabulous. I had the shrimp tacos and there was plenty of shrimp in there. My sister and niece were quite happy with their food as well. My sister had the fish and the seasoning could’ve been a little stronger for me but it was very flaky and done well.

The food is amazing here. The alcoholic drinks are delicious. The desserts are even better. They have a really nice bathroom but only 1 stall. Staff is friendly but since it is a busy restaurant food does take a little while but worth the wait. They do serve salsa and fresh tortilla chips to help hold you off.

I went there last night with my friends. The patio (parking lot) has been nicely transformed. Aside from a lovely ambience, I must say I was highly disappointed with the rest! I had asked for the drink menu to get an idea of what they had AND their pricing and the waiter never brought it and brought me a huge margarita subst. With vodka, per my request. I was never asked what size, double, etc. I had even inquired about getting a smaller one. I also had to wait to get water after having asked at least 3 times! When I got the bill, we were charged $20 per margarita! When I asked him about it, it was like he expected me to know that we pay for a double and then it should be $20. I don’t mind paying $20 for something that I have been aware of and was given the option but I didn’t like how it went down. Shady! I did not appreciate the waiter‘s reaction either! I will not be returning.
