Chronic Tacos

The tacos were okay, (Asada, Al Pastor) I would have liked the flavors to stand out more. A sprinkle of kosher salt or a little lemon juice on the meat would have brought out the flavors. I am a big believer in tasting the food through out the day, I always kept a container of spoons close at hand to ensure that every customer had a perfect experience and left satisfied. Ps I really enjoyed my potato tacos do would order that again. Returned a second time ... 8/09/2018 the service is very slow and confused. I don’t see myself going again.

We were looking for a place to eat before our movie. Alfredo's amazing personality drew us in and the food did the rest. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! We had shrimp tostadas, bacon egg burritos, loaded chronic fries. Everything was made to order and it came quickly. The entire staff was fantastic and the experience was top shelf. If you are ever in Burbank, always visit Chronic Taco!!

Just got back from my lunch at Chronic Tacos, as an attempt at some alternative to fast food chains like Subway or Chipotle. It’s nothing fancy but it is good food for what you pay for especially, considerably higher quality than most chains. Also they offer a huge variety of toppings both cold and hot and the ingredients tend to be fresher than Chipotle, although service is pretty slow most of the time. I do enjoy how there is parking nearby and it’s easily walkable or drivable. Thanks Chronic Tacos.

They were very obviously training 2 new people but only one had the courtesy of telling us, the other just asked like they knew what they were doing. Service was extremely slow and we had to follow up on our own for items we owed. As for the food, the toppings for the chronic fries made them super soggy even when served fresh. The burritos were made in these super small tortillas that couldn’t fit a basic amount of toppings. The only thing worth getting are the potato tacos which were actually good. Otherwise would not recommend this joint at all.

I moved out here from LA several years ago. LA has amazing taco places, so I know tacos! I gave chronic tacos a shot, but was left extremely disappointed! The place was well kept for the most part, but the tables and trash area could have used a wipe down. The trays the food was being prepared on and served had left over food from the last customer who used it. I asked the young man working the line if they usually wipe them down and he replied that he would serve me on a clean one, he had to dig through about 4 or 5 from the top to find one without food debris on it. The tortillas are warmed up on a flat machine that hardly warms them up. The tortillas used are the large household type tortillas. I ordered two tacos asada and two tacos al pastor. The portions of meat were sufficient for the tortilla, but the asada meat was dry as sand, bland and seemed to have been meat that was warmed up from the day before. The al pastor meat was also dry, but had so much spice on it. I had extreme heartburn later on. We didn’t finish the tacos. They did provide free quacamole (it was ok) and the drinks can be refilled as much as you’d like, but one of the drinks I first got ran out, so I could not refill. The employees did not seem happy to be working there, but were not rude. I would not go back. Perhaps their other meal options are better, but I’ll never know. We spent $25 and were left disappointed. McDonalds would have been a better option.

Food was awesome. Portions are pretty big for what you pay but still had great flavor. But even better than the food was the completely awesome service. Guy was very engaging and super nice. Chatted us up for a good several minutes (but didn't keep anyone waiting in the mean time). This place didn't at all feel like a 'fast food' place. Highly recommended.

I was excited to try chronic tacos, especially since they have potato tacos but unfortunately my expectations were not met. The white lime rice was not cooked properly so it was raw and crunchy and some parts were cooked.. yuck!! The black beans which are vegan had no flavor at all, not even salt or pepper nothing and they were somewhat dry. The potatoes inside the taco had little flavor but the green salsa was good. Their fountain machine had only a few options all of the lemonade was out and I don't drink soda, so o just got the unsweetened tea. Needless to say I was disappointed and ended up throwing away my rice and beans. I wasn't returning to the store to ask for a refund because I don't live close.

Ordered a California Burrito, all that was inside was carne asada meat and french fries, guacamole was missing as well as no cheese or sour cream, basically had no flavor and was very dry! Also ordered 1Carnitas taco, it was disgusting and very greasy. I don't recommend this restaurant to anybody and will never eat here again!
