The Skinny Pancake Burlington

Great little place. Pretty good food and excellent location (within 5min walk of the boardwalk). Had the veggie monster and a couple sugar shacks along with some poutine and a spinach and artichoke dip. Veggie was solid but lacking some flavor. Poutine was just ok. Sugar shacks were delish. Dip was by far the best though - highly recommend. Overall it was a good experience for a first-timer, would recommend checking it out if you are in the waterfront area.

Reservations Are Necessary and They Weren't Allowing Takeout. Food Was Delicious. You are Seated, Review The Menu, Walk Up To Place Your Order (which is odd), Sit Back Down & Wait For Many Different People To Serve Your Menu,Drinks, Silverware Then Food. IMHO, Too Many People Making Contact. 1 Person Should Take Care of Your Service From Start to Finish. We Had To Wave Someone Down 3x To Get Assistance. The Bathroom Is Also Shared With The Entire Building, So Be Prepared For a Lengthy But Artistic Walk Down Mazes of Hallways. Because The Food Was Good, We Would Go Back ....only reason Please Request No Salt On Fries or Poutine. We Were Unable To Eat Them Due To Them Being Layered With All Salt!

The vibe here is great once you walk in. The locals love it. Its conveniently right next to the water. Got a strong college place feel to it. Workers are friendly and open to offer suggestions. The food is a mixed bag. To my discerning out of town palate, my spin-art dip was was a little too garlicky. And i love garlic. The chips are pieces of fried crepe were a disappointment. I'm used to it being lighter, these were brick hard. Some were stale. To my teenager, this was great and perfect. Her cheese burger was on point and so was the pesto crepe. Price for 4 including iced tea was $52 with tip.

Over The COVID-19 Pandemic I have gained weight like many others. I looked around Burlington desperately trying to find a healthy Restaurant in the area. I found this place called the Skinny Pancake. I wanted to loose weight fast. So I made a definitive decision to eat all 3 meals at the skinny pancake for the rest of 2020. But I have not lost weight at all, I’m actually gaining weight. This place will not make you skinny even though it is called the skinny pancake! It is true false advertising. This is an Outrage, and a crime against modern American civilization! What the hell is wrong with you? You enjoy tricking people!? I feel pure hatred for the staff and founders of the Skinny Pancake
