Mooo Burlington

Some of the best food I've had in a very long time. The tuna tartar and lobster scungilli pasta were phenomenal. I didn't know seafood could taste like that. The menu isn't overly inventive, but everything on it is nailed down to perfection. The service was great and the drinks were well balanced.

Food A very classy restaurant with great food. Drinks, not so much. We started our evening with a fried calamari and tuna tartare. The calamari was very well done. It was lightly battered and didn’t feel oily or greasy on the outside. My husband said the tuna tartare was fantastic as well. However, the drinks were mediocre. Both cocktail and mocktail were very intense in the first sip, but then became watery very soon. It felt like they didn’t mix the drinks properly or didn’t add enough alcohol or juice. For main course, we ordered the lumache and prime ribeye, with truffle fries on the side. The lumache was very flavourful, but the prime ribeye was a bit thin in my opinion and the taste was okay. The truffle fries, on the other hand, was addictive. Everything else I was shocked how packed the parking lot was and so many people were waiting inside even with a reservation. We waited for about 20 mins before we got seated. The service was great and it made you feel like you are back to the old school kind of classy restaurant.

From the outside you can tell this restaurant has something good about it. The inside atmosphere is just as welcoming, from the high ceilings to big windows as well as their welcoming staff. For an appetizer I ordered the calamari and my friend ordered the Zuppa. Both were phenomenal. For my entree i ordered salmon with vegetables and some whipped potatoes as well as asparagus. Everything was so flavorful, there’s not much I can say because the taste was so unique. It’s hard to describe it. The general manager Peter does more than expected. A very fine general manager, you can see he cares about the business. My whole party was satisfied and the experience was more than enjoyable. They also have an exquisite wine collection. If you are going to splurge on an expensive meal this is the place to go.

The food tasted great, but not for the price. Nearly every entree here costs 30+ dollars unless you count the half pasta sizes which were tiny. The picture I posted is a full size pasta; the plate actually makes the pasta look even smaller. The service was really good though; otherwise I would have rated this place 3 star just based on food value.

We went to this restaurant for my birthday celebration. They have a beautiful ambience with plenty of seating available. The lady who attended us and the waitresses serving us were super polite. She was trying her best to make our experience wonderful. She politely explained few things on the menu. This place is a bit pricy but they compensate this with the hospitality. The food was okay. But overall a good experience. Kudos to the team. Highly recommended.

I have my wedding hosted here. Shannon and Vanessa have been very helpful and supportive to our plan. They are flexible for different dining option and floor plan. The food was awesome. The servant was very patient about dish operations and they offer great recommendations if you don’t know what to order! Great place. Definitely come back for anniversary!
