Starbucks

This is the only Starbucks I go to, I was heartbroken when I went in today and it was all roped off and dark. I had to ask an Indigo employee what was going on. Apparently they closed down, but there’s no sign to say anything just looks dark. Totally sucks as this was the one place I could go and sit peacefully, enjoy the music and read without the chaos that is at other Starbucks. I hope they decide to come back.

(Encounter was with a shift supervisor named Natalie) I called to place an order because my app wasn't working. I called 3 times before got an answer saying "hello!?" ... I asked "is this Starbucks?" and she replied "yes" she seemed short and bothered. I explained that my app wasn't working and I wanted to place a order for pick up --- but before I could even finish my sentence, she told me she was the supervisor on duty and it's not protocol to take an order over the phone. I am a partner from another store so I let her know and said "I know it's not a everyday common thing at my store but we often times do it------" and I was going to finish my sentence by saying, such as when someone orders travellers or the odd situation, but before I could finish she said "I'm not comfortable". I said "okay sorry?" asked her what her name was, she said "Natalie" and I hung up wishing her a good day. ( I tried to tell myself they were probably busy and that's why she was so dismissive) My boyfriend went in-store 10 minutes after this while me and the family decided not to go in after that, and when he came back he said the store was empty as if it were closed, And his exact words were "they could've used our business". As a shift supervisor, I spend my days at work full time, practicing and breathing "To inspire the human spirit" and "Always Making The Moment Right" I would never treat someone in that manner or deny someone calling ahead for an order. I just hope someone reads this because as a new store especially, it's important someone sees how the store is running when management isn't around! If that is how you treat a fellow partner I can only imagine how you treat a average customer.

Once in a while, come to this Sturbucks. It's very cozy due to being located inside Indigo store. It's an open space. Very quiet compare to most Starbucks. Nice to have a date here. The music is also nice. Coming here, sipping a drink with your other half and chatting is the right mix here. The rest, in terms of products, are typical Starbucks.
