There is nothing to complain about this place. I’ve always loved coming here for Fish and Chips, and still one of the best I know of.
Their service is always great, and the fish is always exceptional; perfectly battered, perfectly fried.
I try other places, still come back to Thistle.

First time ordering from Thistle. There is no doubt that the Scottish make the best fish and chips! The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked. The batter was not too heavy and very crispy, just the way I like it. Fries were thick cut and cooked perfectly. Overall the best fish & chips I’ve had in Burlington! Highly recommended!

Best fish and chips in Burlington! Always fresh and cooked to perfection. Mushy peas and coleslaw are awesome. Staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

The Halibut is amazing so flaky and perfectly cooked. The fries were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also received lots of vinegar and tartare sauce on the side!

Good fish and chips and a pleasant dining experience. Haddock and Chips seems to be the trademark here. The fish is done with a very light batter but lacks a fully coating - the fries are fresh and decent but need a less saggy taste. Putting the fish directly on-top of the fries seems to alter the taste. Staff is wonderful! A little expensive.

Great fish & chips place at a really good price. Take out option only. The dining room is still closed.

Been going for over 10 years. Delicious fish and chips - sometimes I switch chips to sweet potato fries. Their fish batter is very light and crispy 😊 Their chowder and steak and mushroom pie are also yummy. Staff is super friendly and service is quick.
Tip: Check the times as they close earlier than most restaurants open for dinner.
Monday to Wednesday- 11:00am to 7:00pm
Thursday- 11:00am to 8:00 pm
Friday- 11:00 am to 9:00pm
Saturday- 11:00am to 7:30pm
Sunday- Closed
