The Water St. Cooker

Update: they are so absolutely sweet! They sent me a tee shirt! This is beyond good customer service. Absolutely visiting them again. 5 stars. Original post: While riding to Niagara on the lake, we changed our mind near Burlington. Googling led us to this place. Wow ! Pleasantly surprised at such a cool, lake facing joint. Very busy on a holiday. The staff is great, the menu is good. They have the bar & restaurant downstairs and a fine dining restaurant upstairs. I would have given 5 stars except that they were too busy to help me buy their souvenir tee short from the vending machine. They were really busy with customers so understandable. This is going to be one of my new short ride go to places for sure !

This was my first time at this place and I enjoyed it very much! It's located right along a pristine view of Lake Ontario and in my opinion one of the best patios I have recently been too. the food was very good, I had the chicken wings although I thought they could have been spicier the actual chicken wing itself was a decent. The was great. the staff there are very friendly and seem to be genuinely nice. I would recommend this place

This rating is entirely due to the ambience and the food. If I could give a separate rating for the level of service it would be several stars less. First off, it's right on the water with amazing views even at night. Inside the design is awesome with several different levels and areas of seating. There are several food options. We went on Wednesday and it was .67¢ wings. Had the mussels, calamari, and lobster sliders all of which were very tasty and delicious. Also had the wings which were crispy and had several different sauce choices. The service was sub par. I don't want to go into too much detail regarding the poor level of service because I don't want to deter people from experiencing this very cool and unique place. I definitely recommend this place.

Great place! Can’t beat the views! Have been coming here for close to 20 years. Don’t know why I never put a review, but it’s a great place. From the owners to the staff, everybody is nice and the service awesome. Good menu... try the turkey wrap (toasted) and burgers (back to the beach or the classic backporch burger). Don’t forget the goop for the fries!
