Hideaway

What an absolute gem, we’re so happy we found this gorgeous restaurant! We ate here for the first time last night and were blown away with the experience. From start to finish, we had incredible service & delicious food in the most wonderfully chilled out little restaurant. It felt like a private dining experience and the entire night was such a beautiful treat. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening ❤️

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Visited on a whim last night, booked an hour before they opened and were made to feel welcome immediately. A lovely little place with absolutely fantastic food. I'm not usually the adventurous type when it comes to food, but there wasn't a single thing I didn't finish. I honestly considered licking the plates! Each dish was a masterpiece, and if perfection is lots of little things done right then they nailed it. I cannot recommend the place highly enough, please go and show this little business some support, they truly deserve it.

Fantastic food ! We were made to feel very welcome. Beautifully presented food. Excellent liver pate; silky, light frittata; juicy pork main course and cheesecake to finish. Thanks to Lou and her partner for cooking on such a hot day ! Come on Bury, go and support this great restaurant and lovely people.

First time at this fabulous restaurant and it won't be the last! Lovely concept of a 4 course meal served to you with courtesy and a smile. We loved the fact there is no menu meaning that each course was a surprise. The food was all home cooked, delicious and extremely good value. The chef came and chatted to us at the end of our meal too. Think we have found our new go to restaurant.

We went for the first time yesterday after seeing lots of online positive reviews, and we were absolutely bowled over by the food (absolutely delicious) and the service (second to none) We're almost "professional foodies" (we eat out a lot) and have to say that this is one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. Needless to say, we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We originally visited in February and were so impressed with the food that we then booked for a meal for my family and friends. Again the food was superb and several of our group commented on how good it was. For me the soup (lentil and vegetable I think) was tasty with a nice kick to it. The main of a chicken lasagne was delicious - the chicken was lovely and tender and as a dish it feels lighter than a traditional beef lasagne. The dessert was probably the best panna cotta I have ever had. For reference back in Feb our main course was a lovely beef dish. The setting is great too - nice and small so it feels like it is just you and your guests and you aren't wondering who your waiter is. The whole thing is run by Lou and Fred who between them deliver great food but also take the time to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be visiting again.
