It's a very nice place, the food is outstanding, the pizzas are fresh and tasty. They carry many varieties of pizzas to choose from, and other Italian dishes as well. Wonderful place! I was so impressed with my first experience there. The Greek salad was delicious (love the fresh lemon in it). The pizza crust, sauce, and fresh sausage was delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and the owner was friendly. We look forward to more family dinners at Tanis and supporting a hard working family that serves delicious food.

An unforgettable little gem. The fried zucchini had the perfect crunch and cook to them. The marinara was balanced and everything you’d want. The steak calzone baked to perfection with crispy bubbles and pockets of goodness. The meatball parmigiana sandwich impossible to stop devouring. And at the end the cannolis will blow you away, they don’t fall apart, they don’t disappoint. Top it all off with tremendously kind service in a cozy clean restaurant… perfect.

Went here for the first time. Before we even walked through the door, as we walked down the sidewalk, we could smell nothing but goodness. Actually couldn't wait to get inside and eat. Ordered garlic knots and then a Sicilian pizza. Wow. Excellent. And we had so much left over it was enough for two more meals! We will definitely be back. Atmosphere was great. Casual yet old world classy. Italian music playing sofly. Tani, the owner operator was awesome! Treats every customer like family. And after we ate he gave us a tour. Very accommodating upstairs area for private functions. Tani is a very gracious host, great chef, and a good man.

I live next door to this place and im in quit regularly, and i do say hands down it is an Amazing, between the service and the food, I'm blown away! iv ordered many different types of dishes from this place and I have been pleased each time, they're fries are also one of the best I have ever had from a family operated pizza shop, for a great and satisfying meal, i recommend tani's!

First Time Customer, Very Pleased! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tanis Pizza on Mercer Street in Butler is simply Amazing! The crust is nice a chewy with the perfect ratio of crunch and soft. Not too thin, not too thick. The sauce also has a delicious authentic flavor. And you can't beat the price for the quality of the food, I can tell these people put pride in the food they serve people! Their delivery service was fast, very professional and friendly!

The large special calzone was excellent. It was served piping hot. I also ordered the fried cauliflower. Both of these come with marinara sauce. A good value for the price. Parking is odd as the building is on the corner. The staff were very nice and efficient. It took 15 minutes for my order at 6 pm on a Thursday.
