Escoba Bistro And Wine Bar

My partner and I visited Escoba last night and were amazed by not only the quality of food, but also the service. We ordered salmon and meat balls for the mains and for dessert we had a creme brulee.This is easily one of the best meals we had. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Solid 4.5 stars. We celebrated a birthday here and were able to enjoy the set Valentine's day menu. Everything was very good. The service was top notch. They put us at a private table in the wine room so it felt like we were alone in the whole place. This was our first time at Escoba but certainly not the last.

I recently hosted a private party here for about 50 solicitors, friends and family. The service was excellent and the food was so impressive our guests were raving about it. We all had a great time and I had a lot of freedom to ensure the decor suited the festivities. Blair and Laurel helped me create a lovely event. Looking forward to visiting again for date night!

Went there for the New Year’s Eve meal and to celebrate my sons 20th Birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed his lobster, prawns, steak, oysters, potatoes and desserts. My steak was done perfectly and melted in my mouth. Of course I had to have my favourite dessert - truffles and port. As always an excellent meal with fantastic service!

Loved this place before it closed and it was just as great as I remembered when I visited after it reopened! Simply wonderful foods and excellent service!! I dropped my napkin and was going to just use it after picking it up but someone (manager, I think?) saw it happened and provided me with a new one without me asking for it! Thanks for reopening!! I'll be back for sure :)

2021 We hosted our Christmas party at Escoba (Party of 25). I can not sing enough praise for this establishment. I HAVE to start with the food at it was exquisite! The chef is clearly passionate and executes flawlessly. Every single person was delighted with their selection, (being a sharing type swapped w my date) I and had the pleasure of enjoying both the smoked duck breast and the beef tenderloin cooked to the perfect temperature and the sides (mushroom barley risotto fresh veg) were just as enjoyable as the meat. The apps, the salad & dessert each course was equally balanced and well seasoned - perfection all around. Our guests with allergies were offered all 4 courses in a modified fashion. Next the service, we could not have wished for more. The servers were incredible, just quietly floating around filling your glass and attending to your every need before you dreamt of asking. Not an empty water glass in sight. There was no pressure to sit and start eating on the restaurant's schedule, they really let our group lead the timing of the evening. Laurel (owner operator) was a dream to coordinate with a keen eye for detail. This special night out was seamless, we could not have wished for more. I would encourage anyone who wants to book a large party to book here without hesitation. If it is just for a small group easy peasey this is your gourmet 5 star stop. Thank you Escoba!
