Joey Eau Claire

Love, love, love the patio here! The glass walls around the patio keep the wind out and the overhead industrial heaters keep you warm on a cool evening. The scenery around the restaurant is great too, with mostly pedestrian traffic keeping noise to a minimum. The Yellow Fin Tuna Salad is amazing here and is always presented in a gorgeous way. The personal sized apple pie is amazing here too! It is great to come with friends and try various appetizers. The staff here are always friendly and professional. They know the menu backwards and forwards so if you have any allergies you can be confident that they will know what you can and cannot eat. After eating here you can take a nkce stroll along the river.

Finally got the chance to go eat and spend time at Joey Eau Claire. I was taken back by how well the staff greeted me and my guest and asked where we would love to sit. We ended up outside on the patios which only brought another joy to our Joey experience. The food was amazing and the drinks to top it off. Great location with paths and parking within walking distance. Be sure to check them out thank you Joey I’ll be back soon.

We came here on a nice May Sunday afternoon. We had the spaghetti Pomodoro, Butchers Sandwich and Chilli Chicken to share. It was all very tasty and came quite quickly. The place was busier then a normal Sunday afternoon but kudos to our Server Emily F who opened up the smaller secondary patio. She was polite, helpful and kept us well hydrated.

Great food, great location, and great people. You can’t get any better than that. On a lovely evening a friend of mine and I decided to stop here for dinner. Our lovely hostess seated us at the perfect spot on their patio to enjoy the hot summer sun but in the shade. It’s also a perfect place to people watch and admire the flowers. There are so many food options here for those with diets. It was hard to choose but we managed. When the food came out we had a delightful surprise. We had the perfect sized spicy pasta and a huge piece of garlic toast. Both had the perfect amount of flavour that made us leave satisfied. The customer service was top-notch. They seated us almost immediately and despite being as busy as they were, managed to stop and have lively, fun chats with us. Our well-being was very important to them. I’m so happy my friend recommended this place. When I go back, I know what I’m ordering the next time.

Incredible experience overall. Great ambience, deliciously prepared, food, and incredible service. My wife and I were welcomed at the door by an enthusiastic team of people ready to serve. Not only that but it was St. Patrick's Day and they provided a shot of Jameson to kick things off right. We were promptly seated and introduced to our waiter, Kova, who was kind and personable which made us feel even more comfortable. He provided a streamlined service and went over and above to make the dinner special even though it was a casual outing. Before we could leave, Brooklyn checked in with us to see how everything went to ensure the experience hit the high standard they strive to achieve....of course it hit the mark and some. Thanks to the staff for a fantastic dinner.
