Original Joe's

I went to OJ's Stephen Ave, as I always enjoyed that place. Good food, great service...Until last night. The bartender lady, absolutely rude from the start. It took her over 10 minutes to wait on me. At 5pm, the restaurant had maybe 6 people.... I had full intentions of ordering a steak sandwich and enjoy some vino. I left shortly after paying my tab of two glasses of wine, and watched the bartender lady complain to a coworker that my 18% tip was not good enough for her. I will not return to this establishment. That was beyond rude and uncalled for.

Came in twice today. Not only did the bartender whom has only served us once remembered our drinks and delivered the same amazing service as we got the first time. After spending the weekend downtown I would say that original joes had the best service and waitstaff on the strip. Keep up the amazing work we will definitely come back here every time we come to Calgary.

I have been to OJ's before and have enjoyed the food. My family and I decided to go out for dinner there last night. The server we had was excellent and this is no reflection on her. However the food was not good at all. Most of my family ordered burgers and the buns were cold. The salad with my side was wilted and the apples were mushy. Overall, the food just wasn't what I had experienced before at OJ's and I left feeling disappointed.
