Really like this place over similar offerings in the city. Always has quick and friendly service. The reason I give it 4 stars as when it opened it was exceptional. Felt really fresh for what would be considered fast food. However, I feel like as time has gone on the quality and freshness has decreased, and now they charge for extras like sour cream and guacamole. When they opened the refried beans were amazing, and now they are lacking flavour. The sweet pork is still delicious though.

Came here twice on my visit to Calgary. Their burritos are packed full of flavour and protein. The pico de gallo tasted fresh and the rest of the veggies are perfect. Quick service, staff is friendly and was able to answer all our questions. 4 stars as the second time I came, I got their tacos. The tacos didn't have much protein in it even though it was considering they are tacos. The whole meal cost 17 bucks with a drink and it left me hungry. The burrito would be the best bet to get you filled with protein. Their horchata was tasty and im happy they have it as a drink option. Wish they have this in Ontario.

Omgsh! It was my first time here and WOW so happy i found you guys! Edgar prepared my food and i told him it was my first time he was so knowledgeable and friendly! Greg, the Team Lead gave my wife and I exceptional service! One of the hardest workers I've seen in any establishment, and I come from a culinary background so I would know. He truly knows how to connect and the portions were on point! Good job team Southland, I know all of you must contribute to each others success 👏🏾😃. Will be back 👌🏾.
