The Dandy Brewing Company

It’s been a while since we have been to Dandy, and wish we had been back sooner. The beer was amazing, with an incredible selection of on tap and cans to go. The pizza was awesome. They offer by the slice after 8:00 PM. Both the pepperoni, and the cheese pizzas were top notch. Huge slices, piping hot, and a nice crust. The service was extremely welcoming and friendly. Lastly, the decor is beautiful. They have a nice sized patio/outdoor area with seating, some with umbrellas. We would highly recommend if you are looking for great beer and a chill vibe.

Dandy has a wonderful selection of beers - there's something for everyone and they're all amazing. I particularly love their stouts and sours. They've got good food, too. Plus the interior and patio are awesome (there is great art and fire pits). The staff is all knowledgeable and great with their service.

Dandy Brewing is a great place to sip some great suds. My favourites include the Vienna Lager. The Premium Lager is a tasty session beer as well. Service is great - welcoming and friendly! Dandy has a busy kitchen as well. I didn't try out any grub, but my next visit will include eats. We had a larger group on a brewery crawl and they got us seated indoors on a cooler day. They have a patio and fire pits. Just a great vibe all around.

The GOAT of breweries in Calgary. Remember the days when they had the small space in the NE. They have been struggling to find an identity with food, first tried fancy hot dogs, then a full menu, but now they are doing pizza, and I think it’s perfect, we loved it. Just make the “per slice” option an all day option!

I've been to Dandy a few times. The first couple of visits were during the summer and we sat on the patio. It was lovely! The service is always amazing, the beer is great, and the food is decent. However, we recently went and sat at a table inside during winter. The music was astonishingly loud and of terrible quality - the best word to describe it was "shrill." We asked a few times if they could turn it down a bit so we could actually carry on a normal conversation. It would be fine for one song and then return to club volumes. It just doesn't make sense for a "tasting room" to be a place where you have to scream at the person sitting immediately next to you. Confusing atmosphere...

The menu just changed - egad! Yet it remains a beauty of a spot on the edge of Ramsay in a unique spot in Calgary. Beers on tap were plentiful, they've gone to a mostly in house made thin crust delicious pizza and service was friendly. Dandy is a great authentic spot to visit for a good brew, a bit to eat and some great atmosphere.

Popped in here yesterday for the first time. It was really great! I wish I. Aught his name but the server who was there around noon was excellent! Treated us so wonderfully. Only tried the Dandy lager but it was excellent and the patio was perfectly sunny which was a huge bonus. Will return for sure!
