Ceili's Modern Irish Pub Royal Oak

I hadn't been here for years, but will definitely be going back. Food and service were fantastic. My son said the butter chicken was as good as our favourite Indian restaurants. I loved the rich French onion soup, and Nashville chicken bites with their perfect heat. The pulled pork Mac n Cheese was good, and seemed bottomless. Only minor suggestion for improvement is for a better cocktail menu. They only have really basic ones on it, yet do delicious ones like the Raspberry Mojito I ended up with.

This is my first time visiting this place, and I was astonished by the classic atmosphere. Haven’t hd food, only drinks, although it was quite busy, servers were highly active and quick. Decorations was amazing so cozy and worm lighting Pictures attached were taking for unoccupied corners. My Japanese friend Miyuki told me that it was her go to place when she was studying at UoC (close enough) for how nice it was.

I went here for a retirement party. And, I have been here before with another big group. This is the place for that. The food was really quite tasty. I have had everything on the appetizer menu. It was what one group did. We just ordered one of each! Fantastic. The service was also stellar. Each time we have reserved a part of the bar. This is a real game changer. It really changed the atmosphere. It was great to see so many faces in the same place all having fun. Definitely will be back!!

Glad to be there as they re-open the brunch buffet. They still took measures to ensure health and safety by having employees get the food for you. They have standard brunch good selections such as bacon, sausage, assorted cheese, egg benedit etc. Lunch food includes roast beef, chicken dippers...the chicken dipper is a little dry so I don't recommend that unless you really love chicken fingers. They do have cheese dipping for the chicken and Doritos that helps with the taste and texture. Love their croissants, roast beef, fresh fruit and salads. The desserts, except for the cookies, do not seem to be house made so are less enjoyable. They are definitely a good buffet spot in the NW of the city for its value and service.
