Saigon Night

I took my Grandma for lunch here. The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. I ordered the Satay chicken Pho, and swapped the noodles out for vegetables. The Pho was alright, but it didn't have a lot of flavour. I have had a lot of Pho from all over the City and this was one of the least flavourful ones that I have had. The vegetables were cooked nicely though and it was a nice clean restaurant. My Grandma had the rice vermicelli with spring rolls. She did enjoy it though. She said it was a good portion size and had great taste. They charged me extra for the vegetables even though I did not get any noodles, which most other Vietnamese restaurants don't do. I would normally give two stars for the soup, but since the staff were so amazing I gave 3 stars.

From out of town, working in the area. Decided to try this place. Absolutely great. Food was delicious, portions were good and the owner even came running out to my vehicle in the cold to make sure he had put the spring rolls in the order (I ordered takeout). Great service. Great little family run restaurant, highly recommend supporting and trying this place.

This place is just crazy good. I've been coming here for over 10 years and have yet to experience a bad meal. The owner is an absolute legend of a person, and the most welcoming business owner I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is always deliciously perfect, which is a shame because I only have a finite amount of money/stomach room so I am invariably forced to stop eating at some point in time. Do yourself a favour and check this place out if you're a fan of lovingly crafted Vietnamese cuisine, or just tasty food in general.

Extremely rude service. Apparently someone is making too much money!!!!! Pic of said dog (7lbs) that was tied up at your front door. Not bothering anyone and only two people in your restaurant. Only for the time it took me to pay for my takeout. (2 minutes) Your restaurant sir. Goodluck to you. "I will understand if you do not support us anymore" is what you said. That rubbed me wrong. Not to mention the people hanging out, smoking outside of your restaurant from the bar next door. Always seems to be at least 10-20 drunk people around dinner time. And the crack heads. I love to walk and pick up my meals. Wouldn't wish that crowd on any dog or dog owner.

Hidden gem in Calgary, nice little family owned restaurant. The portions are a bit small but comparable to the prices around town it's not bad value $12 for a regular size bowl of pho dac biet (other restaurants I've seen are $14-16). Ordered rice one time and the pork serving was a bit small too. Food taste great, service is alway great and it's is now my go to favourite Vietnamese restaurant.
