Shawarma House

The WORST shawarma I have ever had. The meat is not Donair meat. The meat they gave me is shredded, unseasoned, stringy, tasteless meat. Not even sure if it's beef. I feel sick. DISGUSTING! You can see the "meat" below. I regret ordering from this place. If you did this because it was an order and I wasn't there to see for myself, it's very shameful! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! What I got looks absolutely nothing like the pictures in the reviews below. I don't even know what sauce is on the platter. There are countless shawarma places in Calgary, do yourselves a favor and order from any of the other spots (I wish I did). I guarantee it will never be as DISGUSTING as the wrap and platter from this place.

This place is a great hidden gem. Some colleagues and I tried it out and we were all impressed. The gentleman who served us was so hospitable. The portions were good for the price and everything was very flavorful. We had platters, humus, baklava and coffee. Everything was a winner. We will be back if we ever stop in Calgary again. I wish I had this place in my town.

THEEE ABSOLUTE BEST LOCAL RESTAURANT! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THE BEST SHAWARMA EVER. Homemade baklava was amazing! The mango juice was good too. All served by the most kindest heart warming person. The shawarma was so delicious we had to make a stop here again right before we leave the city and to say goodbye! We wish you all the best! And we hope to visit the next time we’re back in town. 10/10 would recommend!

Always come to this lovely spot whenever hunger hits. This is the best made shawarma you can receive in the city, hands down. The care taken into making the delicious sandwich, along with the owner and staff's kind greetings, always has myself along with many others coming back for more. No lie, I highly suggest this establishment to anyone looking to try a taste of authentic Middle Eastern food!

My go to spot. I love Shawarma House, I can count on them to take care of me and deal with me properly every time. The food and customer service is amazing. I always get the donair, one of the best I had in the city. Whenever I need my fix I always come here. Huge thanks to my folks at Shawarma House for always being on point and making me feel like a VIP customer xo.
