Black Bull Pub

This place is bad for a low end townie dive bar....... food is over priced, low qualify and small portioned. Attached is a pic of their $18 beef dip. Aside from being the lowest quality ingredients, the meat had a gross gamy taste, the fries didn't even come up to rim of the cup and the wings I ordered were the usually cheap low quality ones you'd expect, but didn't even have enough sauce to cover them. The wait staff is OK, but nothing came of these issues, when addressed. If you want a good pub in this area, drive 5 minutes away to Gallagher's instead.

Stopped by for wing night and great first impression when we walked in. Lovely bar. Everyone was enjoying their wings. We were optimistic we ventured upon a local gem. Decided to sit at the bar to get more space than a high table too we were offered. Quickly regretted that decision. Wings were mediocre. Over small, cooked and dry. But for 31 cents a pop who can complain right? Well we were told must order a drink and it’s 20 wings max per drink order. Okay no problem. Wish they mentioned that on their website but no biggie. I ordered a beer. Wife ordered water. We ordered 20 wings for late night snack. Oddly lady working the bar came and said we must order another drink. Sure thing…give us an orange juice. What’s next? We must spend a minimum $ in your back room slots machine? All in all you get what you pay for. Can’t really expect Cactus Club service at a local dive like this but at least make it seem like you enjoy what you do or at least try and pretend. Would recommend you ask to be seated at a table for a higher chance of better service. The ladies running the table seemed wonderful and pleasant. Just oddly the lady working the bar on this Thursday night clearly didn’t want to be there and have learnt to hide the fact. What a shame. Settled the hill and tipped well regardless because at least the gentlemen that served us at the bar deserved it.

Great atmosphere and even better food! Honestly, I'm not big on pub food due to the odd amount of oil used, but the food here was absolutely phenomenal. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside which made for perfect fries. And not oily which makes my fingers happy. 10/10 would go back again.

After hearing so many good things about about Black Bull Pub from my coworkers, we finally decided to pick up lunch from Black Bill Pub. Right off the bat, they were very accommodating. We needed to have the food ready by 11 am which is when they actually open so we contacted them to see if they can make it happen. They told us that they are in before 11 and can cook the order so we will have it in time. They made it work to ensure we can have our food. That's great service to start! The food was as good as my coworkers claimed. No wonder Sam goes there regularly for wing nights on Thursdays after work. She also raves about the b\Bucket of Tots which we got and they were very awesome tator tots! I personally had the Triple Decker Club Sandwich and it was a delicious sandwich. I'm sorry that I waited so long to grab food from them! We also got some wings to share and they were awesome. Now I know why they are so packed every Thursday!! Great food by a mom and pop restaurant. Worth popping in!

I love this pub. Ended up going there one night after driving past it for 8 years and loved the experience. The staff are friendly, it's always busy, the food is good, the prices are decent, really couldn't find much to complain about for this place. The other patrons there were all really good to talk to and have great things to say about it too.

Im new to the area and so far have had a great experience everytime I've gone. I've only sat at the bar and Jesse has served me the few times I've been and recommend the steak bites (which were awesome) and to try out a wing night. She's very attentive and friendly and now addresses me by my name and remembers what I drink. It's been great service everytime! I did go on a wing night, it was very busy so be prepared to wait a little bit. Definitely recommend this place!
