Varsity Pizza

Had my first slice a few weeks ago. This pizza is delicious. I would recommend ordering in advance through the phone as they are busy (5 to 7 people working in the kitchen). I order the varsity special which had a good portion of toppings and was cheezy (not salty). I really liked the service as they were friendly and always checked up on your pizza. Would recommend.

Can’t say it’s the best pizza but it’s pretty good. Got the Varsity Special without ham & beef because 4 meats is too much meat for our tastes. Why isn’t it a 5? Because there’s just a little too much cheese. We love cheese, but the pizza could definitely stand to have 25% less cheese. Can’t even see the generous toppings because there’s so much cheese. Although we like the sauce to be tangier, it is actually pretty flavourful BUT you can hardly taste it because there’s so much cheese. And lastly, although the crust tastes good, it doesn’t travel well. We picked it up and were home in less than 10min. But the bottom of the pizza was already soggy by then. The hot wings were ok. Very saucy. Good flavor but not crisp at all. If you’re the kind of person who loves extra cheese on your pizza, you don’t need to order extra here. You’ll love this pizza already...but yes, extra cheese IS an option they offer.
