Alibis Restaurant & Lounge

Nice intimate venue for shows. They have brought a ton of artists come through that have gone on to become really big. They support local and rock PK audio. They employ friendly staff that cares about giving you a great time as a customer. The security is great. They've helped me with an annoying patron once and were quick about it. I recommend this place for your next night of dancing! Bring rear plugs. You'll have a blast. Also, there's a big parking lot across the street

Went with some friends on a Friday night and had a great time. Drinks were cheap for club prices. Not much of a wait for drinks even at peak times. Friendly crowd made the experience better. Come with a good attitude and ready to dance and you will have a great time. Only downside was the opening DJ who I will refer to only as "DJ Trainwreck". Rest of the DJs were superb.

Was their on a Sunday, music was good but very few people and when they have a few people coming in they also left after a drink or two , it's not the music or staff which was polite and friendly, I think they need to promote the place to get more clients, atmosphere and musics like this is Vancouver would be packed, maybe try promoting to the asain groups cause Asians loved these type of rave style music and with both dancing and leather chairs to sit in the back, should bring in lots of people.

Great club. The layout works really well and there is hardly a line up for the bar. PK sound never disappoints, the sound mixing in this club is top notch. Definitely a pleasurable listening experience compared to some of the other clubs I've been to in Calgary. Wasn't too packed when I was there and the crowd was generally quite friendly. I would preferentially choose this venue every time I want to go out to dance.

Decent club atmosphere. Service is pretty good as well, and drinks are reasonably priced. Sound system is far superior than most bars, and because the space is so small and intimate, you really reap the benefits of PK. The reason for 1 missing star is because the ladies washroom is poorly maintained. I was at this club a year ago, and the locking mechanism was broken in the middle stall. Also, the third and furthest stall from the door had a very unstable toilette, which jiggled around like a loose tooth when you sat on it. This time I only used the first and middle stalls. The first stall now has a busted locking mechanism, (around $12 bucks to replace), and the second stall is missing a toilette tank cover. I cannot confirm whether the third toilette still moves around - I wasn't willing to test it out. Regardless, can't have it 100% all the time I suppose. It is a party house after all, and drunks do tend to bash things up.
