Pj's Boulevard Cafe

The food tastes like it was frozen. All of it. I got the eggs Benedict and it was really bland. The texture was really grainy. It all just seemed really subpar. My husband’s fries were definitely straight from the freezer to the fryer. And the ranch tasted and looked like pure mayonnaise. The atmosphere is nice. It is a casual place for sure. The servers were nice. I likely won’t be coming back.

Ordered 30 breakfast burritos for a work event and needed to pick them up by 7am. They normally open at 7am. I gave them a couple days notice and they absolutely crushed it!!! Not only were they a hit at the function they were done on time. Gave me plates, napkins and a ton of salsa. Great service!!

We used to love this place. My husband and I would go for lunch all the time and had great food and service. We took our girls there for breakfast today and received the worst service. People were waiting ridiculously long for food. Tables around us started asking the server to take their order, people who got there after us were getting their orders taken. My daughter (8yr old) asked what kind of soup they had (that would be her meal) our server said she didn't know and she'd go check. She didn't come back. We asked a second server, she said she didn't know and she'd have to ask the other server. Then she left and didn't come back. Eventually we asked again and the original server came to tell us they actually didn't have any soup, she would owe my daughter a free cup of soup on our next visit and our food would be right out (after at least 30 mins waiting.) So my daughter didn't have any food. They brought her a menu back so she could order something else and then brought us our food. Everyone was starving and antsy by this point and my daughter didn't have food. We asked how long her food would take and they said they'd put it in right away. Then my husband realized his food wasn't complete and they said they'd bring the rest out. There was a table beside us that was already seated when we arrived who received their food way after we did. At one point one of the people seated at that table asked a server if she knew when their food would be out. She responded "no, I just got here, ask your server." We'd already seen her out a couple of times, she'd been there at least half an hour and she didn't seem concerned with helping that table. We were so disappointed. The food wasn't the issue, everything tasted good but was hard to enjoy with the poor experience. As we were leaving I commented to the table next to us "I think you guys got your food last!" they said "yes we did! No tip!" I don't think we'll be going back which is disappointing because the food there is good. I think if they had offered to take my daughter's meal off of the bill after they dropped the ball it would have gone a long way. Don't go to the restaurant hungry if you want to have breakfast there!
